Waited a little over a week to review. Range is just fine in my small house. Much faster than rented modem/router from Xfinity. Well worth the cost. Recoup the purchase price in less than a year in savings.

Purchased this cable Modem/Router for it's top rated performance reviews. I am not disappointed. Works flawlessly, set up with no issues. Connected two phones, one TV, one Satellite receiver, and two computers in a few minutes without a hitch. So far so good. Thank you Arris for this fine product.

This unit set up and was running seamlessly with my cable service in about 15 minutes. The unit is functionally excellent with strong WIFI signal throughout my house. The only disappointment is that neither the Surfboard Manager app nor the McAfee Security app would recognize the device when I was setting them up. I retried set up multiple times but always got the same result so I contacted support and they could not resolve the issue either. The only answer was to wait for the next version of the apps to be released.

I "upgraded" from a 10+ year old refurbished router that I bought on a deal, and a cheap cable modem that I bought at a local brick & mortar retailer. Since doing so, my network cuts out all the time. It handles speed well when it works (I have 600 MB/s internet service, which is the max that this supports), but it intermittently fails several times per day. I reboot this modem more often than any I have ever used before. This was my first and last Arris purchase. I tried posting a negative review before, but, not surprisingly, they did not post it to their site. Let's see if this one makes it.

i just bought this and i love it. I had an old modem/router that was ten years old and needed to be upgraded. I am amazed at it's speed and coverage. No more dead spots, no more slow surfing.

What has happened its not intalled yet. Comcast was unable to do so. Using one in Florida with great success, that whay I purchased a second one.
