A: Yes! Phenyl trimethicone which is not water soluble and will cause build up.

A: Yes, it elongates your curls. You put the product on and work it through with your fingers. I noticed a difference the first time I used it.

A: Hello. May I ask if you have a perm with rods or a relaxer? This particular therapy is normally used on hair that has a natural curl pattern and helps to enhance the existing curl. Let me know if this answers your questions.

A: To start dreadlocks, you will need a bees wax product. Aunt Jackie’s Curls and Coils does not have this product in our line. However, many consumers do use Aunt Jackie’s Soft All Over multi-purpose oil to help maintain, soften and seal in moisture during the locking process.

I used this gel after I used the Aunt Jackies curl la la and both products did not mix well. It left my hair dry, undefined and crunchy. I always use a curl activator cream and then a gel and that is how my curls get defined but this was a fail.

I have 2c/3a hair, so I don’t necessarily use this product for elongation. What initially attracted me to this product was the word ‘flaxseed’ on the label. I had heard good things about flaxseed gel but was always too lazy to DIY it. This product provides amazing definition and hold. It does dry to a hard cast, but is very easily scrunched out. The only thing I wish was better about this product was the longevity, I find that I really only get about 2 days of wear out of this gel before my hair starts to lose definition. And I’m a lazy girl who hates to refresh my hair, so I wish it had the same hold longevity as some more expensive brands, but for the price this is the BEST gel I’ve tried.

I love this gel🥺 it’s so easy to water down & is ALCOHOL FREE! Which is amazing if you’re trying to nourish your natural hair! It gives the bold w out too much of a crunchy feeling and is easy to brush out to get a softer hold. I have 3b/3c curls and my hair curls & holds a curl very well w this product. I really recommend it tbh I’ve been using it daily for the last 2 months and I love it!

This is a miracle lotion/gel. Take it from someone who has tried everything. My hair is classified as 4C and I keep it short. I wanted a hair gel that does not flake and moisturizes at the same time. Other brands claim they can do it, but each one I tried failed me. I am so happy with the product that I order 3 at a time so I don’t run out 😁
