I was so in love with this lotion the first time I got it, with the light purple top. Cue time to get more and there was a new bottle design with the brown top and I just assumed it was the same but it was not. I hate that the smell is different. I feel cheated. Aveeno lotion isn't cheap. I still see some purple top bottles in store and I'm going to have to smell test them before I ever buy it again. Why ruin a good thing?

I used to love the aveeno stress relief lotion but lately it smells too strongly of alcohol or chemicals. The smell makes me gag. Very sad they seem to have changed the formula. It does still do a good job of moisturizing but it smells so bad, I can hardly stand to put it on.

If you're used to the old Stress Relief Moisturizing forumla with lavendar, chamomile and ylang-ylang, this is not the same! This new scent has the same stress relief name, but is lavendar only. I loved the old formula, but will not be purchasing this new formula again. Please bring back the old formula, Aveeno!

I bought this to replace the Aveeno lavender my daughter finished. They changed more than the packaging. The scent is completely different, it smells excessively, artificially, floral. I can’t smell any lavender in this lavender formula. Had to return as the smell triggered my allergies.

I bought this thinking it was the same scent as the old lavendar and chamomile stress relieving lotion. Does not smell the same or as good. Doesn't really smell like lavendar, the scent is kind of hard to place. But not a fan. The old version smelled terrific, not sure why they'd change it.
