Description
The Salerno Jacket wins hearts with its casual, cozy, and cute nature. A melange fabric creates a soft, heathered appearance on the outer while a fleece coaxes comfort along the inner. Simple at first glance, the fine details will make you fall in love, including decorative stitching at the rounded front yoke, rib-knit side panels, reverse pleat on the back, and a sharp stand collar. Functional details delight as well, from the thumbholes hidden in the extended, rib-knit cuffs to the hidden full snap front and pockets at the front. We love that there are two extra inches along the back that creates a subtle high-low effect with this jacket.

I got a large and it fit fine but the length didn’t work for me, it hit me at an odd spot. For reference, I’m 5’9”. My mom, who is about 5’4”, tried it on and the length looked better on her. I really liked it and wished the length worked for me but for my height I think it would’ve needed to have been longer. Nice pleats in the back and pockets in the front. The collar felt good too, not stiff and it didn’t hit into my face as some coat collars sometimes have a way of doing. My mom will get a lot of use out of it I think.

I love this jacket / cardigan for plane travel. It is that perfect layer (not too bulky, not too thin) that is nice and long to cover the bottom in leggings with pockets large enough to hold a phone. The snaps are easy to do and the size isn't too tight or too boxy, which is great for someone like me that is a little more top heavy. Just what I expect from Aventura sizing!
