About the Author



HARRIET BLACKFORD has a degree in zoology from the University of London and began her career there in the zoology department. Harriet is the author of numerous nonfiction titles for children, a business director, and a keen bird watcher. She has three children and two grandchildren and is married to the author and illustrator Sam Williams.
