Solid brand and consistent quality. I will still sift it before adding to whatever I am baking just for it to be a little "lighter" and typically I add it to a gluten-free flour mix to bulk it up just a tad. If you bake alot or tend to make bigger batches, the bag is on the smaller side, and it will not last super long. But it is a good flour and worth trying.

didn't realize what a small bag this was for the price. I literally had a small amount left (1/4 cup) after using 2 cups to make keto bread. that's a crazy price for only enough to make one small loaf of Keri bread.

Lately I’ve been using this as a substitute for bread crumbs! I use them in meatballs, and the subtle flavor really compliments ground beef. Tastes great!

I usually make waffles with the pancake mix. I always add cinnamon and usually sift in powdered buttermilk and chopped pecans. They are a big hit with the grandchildren. I usually increase the batter when making for myself, so I can freeze a few to pop in the toaster next time!!!

We started keto several weeks ago. I can make lovely little mug cakes and biscuits that are just wonderful! If you are using this for baking, it's better to get the super fine flour made from blanched almonds. Very happy!

Useful and especially tasty non-gluten flour.

I use the almond flour in recipes that combine it with non-gluten flour.. Especially delicious for tart pastry. Originally used it by itself for dairy free and gluten free pancakes in a recipe from the wellness clinic at Cleveland Clinic. Now I always keep almond flour on hand, in the refrigerator, of course. When I share my pastries my friends always comment on the good taste of the crust.

Nutrition Facts Understood

3 out of 5 stars

I bought a 16 oz bag of Super Fine Almond Flour to try in order to reduce my carbohydrate consumption. I find the "Nutrition Facts" information to be very misleading. The information uses 2 Tbsp as a measure for all the daily values. Who would ever use just 2 Tbsp flour in a recipe except for possibly gravy? 2 Tbsps equals only 1/8 Cup so 1 Cup of your almond flour actually has 24g of Total Carbohydrates. It would be very nice to see a measure that is realistic so as a shopper I don't have to stop and calculate what I am actually purchasing. I also find that it doesn't act like regular flour for sifting or baking times but I can work on that. Thank you

Great for diabetic pancake mix

5 out of 5 stars
originally posted on Bob's Red Mill
My main use for the almond flour is in making diabetic pancakes. I use 1 tablespoon of almond flour, 3 tablespoons of your coconut flour with three tablespoons of oil, 3 tablespoons of whipping cream, some salt, 1/4 tsp of baking powder, one sweetner and three eggs. Stirred all together and poured out like regular pancake mix. Very low carb. Add a no sugar pancake syrup.
