Runs large on my son he is usually a size 7-8 but I had to get a size 6 for this and the matching top

Great quality perfect for my son

Bought these for my 4'6" 9-yr-old boy for Piano recitals. Since they're Cat & Jack I didn't think twice as I've bought the brand before and they are usually well made. Unfortunately, these pants are not only flimsy, sort of see- through, not the formal dress pants material, very thin, also the stiching near pockets was coming off. I should say single thread stitching, not sturdy for kids' clothes. I didn't have time to return and needed them for his recital so kept them. They are comfortable, have elastic for making it tight on the inside so I like that, also fitting is good. They're a little long for my 9 yr old, I got a Size 10. But otherwise looks good.

Nice slacks and easy on the wallet. Son (7) loved them and was excited to wear it. Had to order in size 6 (same with jacket) because he’s a skinny (50-55lbs, 3’10”) kid who can still wear size 5 in bottoms. So for average sized kids, it’s probably true to size. Pants length was just a little too long in size 7, so he wore the size 6, but I kept both size 6 and 7 so he’ll grow into the 7. Also bought the matching jackets (size 6 and 7).

Sizing was perfect and the price was reasonable.

These pants were such a lifesaver for my son! We had a family member to pass away and my son needed a pair of dress pants to wear to the funeral. Target to the rescue! The pants have washed well, no shrinking or fading and my son says their comfortable, at least for dress pants.

Really nice looking pants, well made, but they run really big. My son is in 8 and even the 7s are almost too big.

Pants fit very weird in the waist and seat of the pants. The length is perfect but you can barely zip them and my child is on the skinny side.

Sizing is way off. I bought a 16 thinking my growing son might get a solid year of wear out of them given that every other pair of Cat and Jack pants he owns and fits in are a standard size 14. Reader, it wasn’t even close! The seat of these pants is nearly three inches smaller than his other Cat and Jack slacks, so the pants pull ridiculously tight across the rear. The waist was also small. Black suit bottoms seem to be ridiculously difficult to find in boys sizes and these go out of stock so fast! If you need them, maybe try going two sizes up?

Seems to run small in the waist. The length was perfect for my short 12 year old. But the waist was tight with no give. He is 80-83lbs and 4’8”. Just got in size 12 jeans.

My son was impressed & looked like a business mogul when all was said and done. We mail ordered these pants because the store only had the jacket. Once the pants arrived, we had a full suit. Can’t beat that.

Very good quality. A good straight leg not too tight but not too wide. Will be great for my brother’s wedding and church.

these pants run very big. My size seven son can fit into the size five I bought for my other son!

I am an 18 yr old girl at 4 11. I’m starting a new job requiring black dress pants but wasn’t finding anything in the women’s department. They look and feel nice, the zipper works well and are flattering. The fabric is a little thin but I don’t mind. Glad I gave these a try!
