The design of the bottle is siutable for the middle bag, in originsl color it seems more stylish n my opinion. I dont likea bg size. Tge vacuum looks aldo good.

My husband bought the filter bottle for me around Mother’s Day and I have used it every day. Went to clean it out today and it is rusting inside. Don’t think that should be happening. I only drink water like it says.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve now bought 3 of these water bottles. The first 2, the lids broke and won’t stay closed. It wasn’t a fault of mine! I contacted Brita and they won’t replace them. I’m on my third, and if this one breaks, I will not buy another. They are a great product, (the reason for 2 stars) but if a company won’t stand behind a product for defects, then they lose a customer!

Straw struggle

I like the idea of the filtered water bottle yet I do not like that I struggle from drinking from the straw. I have a hard time sucking from the straw and do not get much water from the straw. I prefer to drink without the filtered straw. Great concept but has some flaw in the design

Hi, CJ. Thank you for bringing to our attention the difficulty you're facing with accessing the great-tasting water from our Premium Stainless Steel Filtering Water Bottle. We deeply apologize for the frustration caused. The can occur when the silicone mouthpiece is out of place. Once you remove the straw, you’ll see the base of the silicone mouthpiece on the underside of the lid. At times, this piece gets folded and covers up the venting hole. If this is the case, gently turn the mouthpiece to align with the groove inside the base of the lid. Make sure the filter is flush with the top of the straw then align the straw with the base of the lid and twist right to lock. It's important to note that our bottles are designed to be held in an upright position while drinking. Also, after refilling, it may take a few sips to pull water through the filter for the first time. Too hard to drink from. If I tilt the bottle up,, water runs out the air hole. If I try suck out the straw, I barely get water. Bad purchase.

Joan, we're sorry you've had an inconvenience with your Premium Hard-Sided Filtering Bottle. The problem may be due to the misalignment of the silicone mouthpiece. To fix this, please remove the straw from the bottle and inspect the silicone mouthpiece's base on the lid's underside. Sometimes, this piece may get folded and obstruct the venting hole. If this is the case, gently adjust the mouthpiece to align it with the groove inside the lid's base. After that, ensure the filter is flush with the top of the straw, align the straw with the bottom of the cover, and twist it right to lock it in place. I loved having this water bottle my freshman year of college when I lived in the dorms. Water definitely didn’t taste like tap water even though it was. However, you need to wash this bottle thoroughly as the straw is hard to clean and can get dirty very quickly.

It’s a nice design but I have 2 problems: It doesn’t keep the water cold, and it’s nearly impossible to clean the straw.

This has been my go to bottle for about a year now. I feel like I'm missing something if I leave the house without it! I'm a bit picky about how I like my water- I generally prefer very cold filtered water. Because of this, I found myself drinking from a lot of single use plastic bottles in the past. This bottle has practically eliminated my need for them though! It does an amazing job at keeping drinks cold all day (I'll come home from work with ice still in the bottle) and the filter allows me to refill it from anywhere! I originally bought it hoping it would help me increase my water intake (since I'd be able to refill it and have filtered water wherever I go) and it's done all of that for me and more! I literally tell anyone who will listen to me about this bottle because it's truly the best bottle I've ever owned, hands down. I will say it does have a couple of things that could be better- as I've seen a lot of others say, the mouthpiece does tend to get moldy sometimes. I don't have much of an issue cleaning it, it's just not the nicest thing to look at. The bottle has also gathered a fair deal of dents and scratches, but I think that one is mainly on me as I bring it to work with me. The capacity is also a bit small if you like more ice in your bottle, mainly due to the straw having to house the filter. Overall these are very small gripes and I'm beyond satisfied with my bottle!

I've had the brita water bottle for a little over a year, and I am nothing less of obsessed! I've tried around 8 different stainless steel water bottles, but i always go back to this one! It gets harder to drink out of when the filter needs to be replaced, which i actually appreciate. The rubber mouthpiece does get funky, but I have been able to find replacements online for an affordable price. Overall, I can't live without this. Not only do I drink so much more water than before, but I haven't had to buy water bottles in over a year.

There is no way to clean the straw. I wanted to like this bottle but The straw is not something I can clean and gets dirty. You cant replace it either so this water bottle was a wastle of money.

Wash the white cap in the top rack of a dishwasher or wash thoroughly by hand with hot soapy water. You can also use a clean toothbrush or bottle brush. After washing, try leaving the cap open when you’re not using your Brita bottle. This will help eliminate excess moisture. Be sure to allow the bottle to dry completely after every wash. Bottle design and idea is nice but it has a significant design flaw. The lid part where it clasps breaks really easily this is the 2nd bottle in 6 months that has broken from the same place
