Bye Bye, Binary - by Eric Geron (Board Book)

Awful book, I put it back and fortunately my Target bathroom had TP in stock so I had no further use for this.

Such a great book for parents and kids - giving people language does not change their identity but it can give them language and lifesaving affirmation that they are whole.

After reading the reviews that claimed that this book was innapropriate, I had to check it out for myself. Really, nothing in the book is bad at all. It seems more geared towards kids who are being raised to be gender neutral, or for kids with nonbinary/GNC parents. Some language I think a child wouldn't quite understand if they're younger, like 'social construct', but other than that there isn't anything ''innapropriate, perverted,' or 'disgusting' about the book. The fact that false reviews can run freely on here baffles me, and it really changes your perception of the book if you choose to listen to them.

Cute book to help kids learn about the world around them. My daughter loved it!

Terrible book for babies. This isn't for them. It's for us to feel better about ourselves. Not a great way to go about telling littles to love what they love. Missed the boat.

If I had known what nonbinary was as a kid, I know I would have been more comfortable with myself much sooner. Thank you for keeping this online, despite the negative "reviews." I wish we'd had books like this when I was younger.
