A: Hi! You don't want to bite down on the valve too hard, but in order for water to flow, you need to apply a small amount of pressure as you take a drink.

This product is about 3.1 inches in diameter at the base of the bottle so you can determine if it will fit in your car. (note: the 20oz bottles do fit most cup holders)

I've been a longtime Cambelbak fan with many bottles and packs over the years. This one is a daily user but I'm disappointed in the cap. The famous bite valve and straw work like a champ but it leaks around the top seam after only about 4 months of daily use. Going to switch it with the chute top instead for now.

I love not having to tip it to drink. Higher end price, but i am very pleased. Worth the cost for sure. Had to buy two to get free shipping, but i won't need the second one for a long time!
