In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney's "Christopher Robin," the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.
Love this movie--and I didn't even grow up with the Pooh Bear. It's cute, but also packed with unique wisdom. Disney did a great job on integrating the stuffed characters with the real people and scenery. The music is gorgeous, weaving in just the right amount of the original songs. The detail of dialogue, video, and sound is so good, I have happily watched it over and over, getting more out of it each time. (Oh, by the way, I am an adult, with no children.)
One of the best movies I have watched in a while. It reminded me why I love that silly little bear and why he was my 2nd tattoo (lol). It was whimsical, funny, heart-touching (and trust me for me to say this, it is true). Well done!!
