Ditto what everyone has said about the awful new scent. Not happy, Target, that I didn’t get what I ordered - the “original scent,” as listed. Took me a day or so to realize the overpowering dryer-sheet-like smell in the kitchen was the Dawn! Gives me a headache; will be throwing out.

Thanks a LOT, TARGET! A warning might have been nice in your website description that this was NOT the Dawn dish soap ORIGINAL SCENT, but some horrific scent that would give a person an immediate migraine and make them feel nauseated. Proctor & Gamble, I predict that your company is on a “New Coke” trajectory with this disastrous change.

Horrible, horrible smell!!! So disappointed. Do not buy. Allergy suffers beware. Even if you don't have allergies, beware. Why the need to change!! EVEN if the original scent is not brought back, at least offer a fragrance free version. Not everyone wants fake chemicals in their dish soap!! I will no longer buy this after many years.

The new scent is terrible! I had no idea that you changed the scent when I bought another large refill size. Why would you do this? I can’t stand using it or having the cheap perfume scent cling to my dishes so I threw it out. I I have been a dawn user my entire adult life and so has my family. I won’t buy it again unless it reverts back and I read about the reversal so I’m positive I’m not wasting my money again.

I DO NOT LIKE the new scent! It triggered me to have an asthma attack. As soon as I squeezed it onto the sponge, I could not breathe. Dawn was the Only dish detergent I use. The original scent didn’t bother my breathing nor my boyfriend’s/my skin sensitivities. And now, the dishes STILL smell of the soap even after they’re rinsed and dried. I can’t get away from the scent!! I cannot eat from my own dish ware! Guess I’ll be shopping for another brand. The original scented Dawn is all I’ve used for decades on dishes, household cleaning, spot treatments on clothing and linens. PLEASE Bring BACK the Original Scent, and I’ll once again be your customer for life!

Why in world would they change the classic scent. I can't even handle the new scent at all it gives me a headache! It smells like chemicals and fake smells! Why change something that worked amazing for years and the smell was so pleasant I can't even use this new soap scent. I have no clue to what to buy now everything is so strongly scented these days for no reason. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SCENT!!!!!

I have always loved dawn but this new scent is just ridiculous. It’s to strong and lingers not only on dishes but your skin. I do not want my dishes that I eat off of smelling like perfume. Very disappointing they could simply not add a new scent and keep the original as an option for those who are sensitive to fragrance. I guess if they do not bring back the original scent I’ll have to find a new brand. Very disappointing.
