DivaCup Model 1 Reusable Menstrual Cup

I love this menstrual cup! It's very easy to use if you follow the instructions correctly. It's incredibly comfortable—I don't feel it at all. I'm very satisfied.

So happy to be back to a cup! I tried a disc and it just didn't work for me. I feel safe from leaks, its easy to use and I've had ZERO issues this cycle :)

I only had 1 cycle so far where I was able to use my diva cup. I loved how infrequent I had to "change" and my cramps were drastically reduced. The one thing I'm still trying to figure out is when I remove, clean, and reinsert, it's difficult because There's no moisture since it was just removed. Also, the part I feared the most was the mess. I'm able to manage it, but it's pretty gross. I'm not a fan of washing in same sink as I brush my teeth. Anyway, I'm still working on my process. Would love some tips.

So here's my honest review and all the pros and cons. I have a VERY heavy flow. Like the biggest tampon and full bedtime pad and may still bleed through all that and my pants in less than 2 hours. I've used this over multiple cycles and most recently I really found myself liking this more than all other cups I have. The issues to start: no matter what I do I cannot get a good seal so that I don't bleed at least some onto a liner or period underwear to begin with. After a little time everything adjusts and the seal it great. The cups holds a lot and I don't feel the need to constantly sprint to a bathroom. I check in every two hours to be extra safe but with this and period underwear I don't have to worry about bleeding through anything anymore. That's really the only negative I have. If you wanted spotless underwear and ONLY the use of a cup, this ain’t that. The pluses: of everything I've tried this really is the easiest to insert and remove. I've noticed other cups are super hard to grip but this is great! it's comfortable for me and I think it's due to the longer but narrow shape. It makes sleeping peaceful as I can do a cup and a heavy flow period panty and have peace of mine that I'm not going to bleed all over my bed. Seriously before this it was hard to get enough sleep on my period because of my anxiety of bleeding on my bedding which had happened too many times. Overall, I really like this product at first I was like man I can never get this right as I'd bleed after inserting but I've learned that it adjusts with time. Good stuff.

not a difficult learning curve to use

I have been using the divacup since I had my last kid 6 years ago. Such a game changer! I always felt moist down there during my period and would leak/couldn’t keep up on heavy days with tampons. I can actually sleep thru the night and avoid a mess in my bed these days!! I went swimming this week on vacation and didn’t have to worry like I used to! I haven’t used a tampon in years. It takes a couple months to get the hang of it- so keep trying ladies!

I'm a nurse and was looking for something I could wear for 10-12 hours. I like the diva cup because we don't always get to use the bathroom on busy days, drink enough water or eat. I purchased the size 0 initially and have worn it for 3 cycles now. My cramps are almost non existent and it's so comfortable that I forget it's in. it's small enough to pack in my purse and I don't have to worry about having tampons handy. I did notice some leaking around it so I decided to try the level one. I'll post a follow up after my next cycle.

This cup was a little smaller than I anticipated. It doesn't give quite the same seal for my flow as my first one which I thought was the same.

Absolutely love this item. I took a weekend to figure out, practice and get comfortable with use but I've never looked back. Going on 7 years, this completely changed my relationship with my period! My periods are easier and far more comfortable giving me so much more confidence. (Not to mention the peace of mind and ease of wearing a bathing suit on my period). I wish I could have started periods with this product but I am so happy I found it. Truly life changing Other benefits I've loved: cost savings each month/year, less waste, longer wear with less worry, leak proof, and no skin irritation compared to tampons and pads.

I've tried many cups and this is by far the best; easiest to use, clean, and most comfortable. Plus, it's a B Corp! A small learning curve initially but so very worth it. I wish I had been introduced to this product as a teenager.
