About the Author

Richard Thompson was one of the great geniuses of a generation of cartoonists full of extraordinary figures such as Charles M. Schultz (creator of Snoopy), Patrick McDonnell (Mutts) and Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes). His career was cut short by his premature death from Parkinson's, but his work has elevated him to the level of an international icon.
