This lotion stung my face as soon as I put it on. It is for redness relief and Rosacea but I never knew if it worked since it stung. Nothing should hurt your skin when applying. Plus I had to order it online and that is inconvenient for a night cream when using it every night.

I like this night cream a lot. It feels nice and thick going on and definitely moisturizes my dry skin. I haven’t noticed much of a difference in my redness though I haven’t always been consistent and forgot sometimes to put it on. I did notice some slight burning when I first started using the product (similar to when you first start using a retinol cream but more mild) but it always went away after a few minutes and after a few uses I haven’t been feeling it anymore. Speaking of retinol, it feels really soothing to put on after my retinol cream that usually causes a bit of irritation as I am new to using it.

I was pretty excited to try this because it was recommended by a dermatologist, but it just didn’t work for me. My face was too sensitive to the amount of benzoate in this product. I did however love the consistency. It’s a cream, but it didn’t make my face feel congested. So if you’re not a sensitive-faced girly like me, I’d recommend this product as it is actually loved by many.

This is more watery than I prefer for a cream. I didn’t notice it reducing any of my redness after a few weeks of use. The scent is very mild but I ended up giving it to my husband to use.

Panthenol is the third ingredient! The glycerine base plus squalane mean it moisturizes but feels lightweight. For my oily, retinized skin, that adds up to a perfect overnight healing cream. The licorice root is just a bonus for treating hyperpigmentation, as far as I’m concerned. Whether or not you have issues with redness, this can be an excellent night cream that doesn’t break the bank.

I really regret trying this product. After just one day's use, my face is dry, significantly more red, and feels like it's been burned. It'a been a couple days and the redness hasn't yet gone down. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but if you do, I don't recommend this product.

I suffered a great deal of burning red skin in winters due to overdry air from the heating of air in the winter. I am fair skinned that is sensitive to sunlight and lack of humidty. This cream along with the Redness Lotion have worked very well for me in reducing redness and discomfort. Plus it is so affordable.

Burns
1 out of 5 stars
Kim - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
I read other reviews about this burning and causing bumps and outbreaks. I have dry, mature skin that can be sensitive but not always. I thought I'd give this a try. I applied it at night after cleansing. Initially it burned a little. As the night went on, it burned more and more. After laying in bed for a hour hoping the burning would stop, I got up and washed my face again. Using this once was enough for me.
