About the Author

Dr. Charles Sophy is a psychiatrist and the former medical director for the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. He has been a staple on Dr. Phil for the last twenty years. He now brings his experience and expertise to his book, Family Values, continuing his work on repairing parent-child relationships, just as he did in his previous publication, Side by Side: The Revolutionary Mother-Daughter Program for Conflict-Free Communication.
