Fitbit Ace 3 Activity Tracker

My daughter got this Fitbit for Christmas and it worked well for 6 months. Now it will not keep a charge for more than a couple hours.

Does not pair with Apple phone. Did not know there was a timeline to return.

Got this for my then 4 year old! Still in great condition 2 years later! 1 full charge will last for 8-10 days! Still have happy with this purchase!

We just connected a child account to my existing fitbit account, and found it to be a smooth setup experience. My existing fitbit account will end in 2025 (according to a disclaimer during setup), where at that point in time, I would have to connect with my Google account. I wanted to mention our experience, seeing that I read several reviews about difficulty in connecting or linking a child account. I do wonder if I may encounter issues moving forward after the push to swap to a Google account. My biggest concern here is what I'm reading about the device falling out of the band....ugh...I'll keep you posted.

I bought this watch for my son for christmas 6 months ago and the watch itself works great but the fitbit app is terrible. When we try to sign into the fitbit app with his google account we keep getting an error that the account is "supervised". I called Fitbit support twice and their solution was to create another google account for my child (which solved the problem the first time) but now that he got his own phone, it won't let us sign into the account again. They email me instructions but the "solution" doesn't work. I won't ever buy a fitbit again. I wish that I had bought the Garmin vivofit jr. 3. We had a Garmin vivo fit jr 2 and the app worked much better.

I had to return this immediately. Watch didn't work. Additionally, the FitBit app is terrible. I highly recommend exploring other smart watch options for the kid(s) if your life.

Do not buy this. Find a different tracker. The Fitbit falls out of the rubber watch band.

Got this as a gift for my 8 year old, and it is virtually impossible to set up. Won't get into details, but I've spent countless hours over multiple days across more than once device and user accounts to try and figure this out. Because it's a "kids" device, and Fitbit has moved to Google, we keep running into walls. Extremely disappointed, and frankly its ridiculous this is even sold, given there is no solution to the set up problems.

The truth is that I never really used it. Iboughg it for my wife, but I missed where it said it was a kids watch. Exchanged it for another.

Absolutely terrible! Months after Christmas and still can't set it up after many hours of trying! Avoid this product like the plague! App sends you in circles, your kid needs their own device for it to work, their own email, etc. and it will still say that it won't work.

This was a pain in the butt to set up, but after about 3 hours on Christmas Day, I got it figured out. Two months later, the watch piece popped out entirely from the band while my kid was at school and was lost. It's not connected securely. I called Fitbit and they wouldn't replace it, even with a photo of the poor design or possibly faulty watch band. The warranty only covers the band, not the watch part itself, which is completely worthless. Please don't buy this watch for your kid!

If you're an adult looking for a very basic tracker, this probably isn't it. I wanted to track sleep and use the silent alarm only. I had to create a fake child in Google (a nightmare process), enable family control, add a second profile to my phone, and then finally, finally, I could install and sync the Fitbit app. I'm very good at tech and it still took me a couple hours.

Terrible product! Instructions are not accurate and are very misleading! There is no way to add child’s fitbit to the family Fitbit account. The only way is to have your child create a Google account. The app does not let you know this and it took 2 chat conversations and a call to confirm this! The app indicates it is being set up but 10 hours later and it is still spinning. We are returning it!

Very difficult to set up! I exchanged it for the Inspire for my daughter. We are both happy now.

Absolutely horrible. It shouldn’t be this difficult to set up a device for kids.

Bought two for our kids (aged 6 and 11). Out of the box, you have to jump through numerous hoops even to set these up by creating kids Google accounts (yes! you HAVE to have a google account for EACH kid/EACH watch)... and they have to be kids accounts, linked to a parent account. Good luck downloading multiple apps to do this painful process. We should have just put the watches back in the box at that point. Once setup, they do very little - they can track steps and some activities (not all and not very accurately). The final straw is that both watches just didn't wake up most times when the kids would press the side buttons or tap on the top. They became more a nuisance then anything else. Note- we got our two on a great deal and still returned them because they are a waste of time and money. STAY away! I can't say that loud enough, do yourself a favor and stay away.

My 6 year old was so excited about getting this. It was a bit of an ordeal to set up, but then wouldn’t consistently sync with the app. The clasp broke on the first one we bought within a week, so we took back and exchanged. Two weeks later the clasp broke on the second one. My daughter is not hard on things. Will return this one and will not replace. Look for other options.

I have spent over 12 hours total trying to connect this. I’ve followed every instruction multiple times, creating child’s google account, etc. It’s sucked up my energy and time, Fitbit customer service instructions were useless. My child was so excited and unfortunately this was a complete waste of money, time, and energy.

Could not set up this kids fitbit for my kid because Google does not allow for kids (without another device) to log into the Fitbit app. Don't believe the Fitbit directions... if your kid doesn't have another dedicated Google device that they solely use, this won't work for your kid.
