This laptop is good priced, starts up good, but does disconnect from the Wi-Fi and won't work again until you reset the entire computer plus the network settings all over again. This computer will take more time to load your basic google page, then if you were to just save your money and buy a little bit more expensive laptop that will actually work. All the reviews that say "it gets the job done", are just being nice. This computer is a joke. I never owned a gateway laptop before and I highly DONT recommend. I'm about to take it back and get my money back.

Difficulty establishing WiFi connection during initial setup and in new environments. Slow speed experienced. Overall, unimpressed; opting to stay with the Chromebook.

This computer is a good computer for minimal tasks, it's cheap and a good deal. 4 gb of ram isn't alot so it's a little slow which is normal if you are wanting a faster laptop go for something 8gb of ram or higher. However if your just browsing or playing roblox works great with no problems

The slowest computer everrrrrr! Don’t even waste your time or money on this one. I just needed a computer to check emails and do basic work on. Couldn’t even open the search engine box without it freezing.

I love this little laptop!! I read through some of the reviews and I am not having any of those issues!! Only thing I really had to do was check for windows updates, once I updated everything it was smooth sailing. I mostly use it to stream movies and answer emails, and I love that it has office for a year!!! Love love love it

I purchased this specifically to use it for emails and Facebook. The computer continues to claim it’s not connected to wifi and disconnects quickly on the uses where it works. I have strong wifi at my house and have never had the issue with another device.

So far I’m enjoying it, right size for me, it’s an ok laptop, budget friendly, it works good to me, the price is what made me go for it, the reviews did not stop me from going for it so that I can experience my side by trying it and go from there. Great value, At a price of $129.99 what a great deal it is and I saved 5% by using my Target Red Card. I sure am on a tight budget. I like that it has a good amount of storage at a phenomenal price. It loads good to me.

It's very laggy and runs slow. I bought for my kid to play roblox. Once you actually make it to roblox, works perfectly. Would not recommend to anyone but it does the job.

At first it looked good out the box and setting up process but as I go into to it, to even load Microsoft edge properly is like waiting for your next paycheck to come. This computer I don't know who built it and why target is selling it but it's an absolute garbage. I wished I've read the reviews prior to the purchase because I wasted my time and my gallons for this toy. Please TARGET I RECOMMEND TO GET THIS COMPUTER OUT OF YOUR STORE!

Worst computer ever. Constantly turns wi-fi off by itself and refuses to turn back on. Seriously considering just smashing it to relieve some stress since NOBODY should have to use this laptop.

I bought this computer the other day, mostly because it was cheap. That, and I wanted to get a new laptop since the one I have now is starting to slow down, losing keys and generally, getting old. Which is funny, considering the first downside to this computer: It’s Slow. 4 GB of RAM is a decent starting point but even by starting up the computer for the first time, it took nearly a century to open basic programs such as Microsoft Edge, File Explorer or even the Settings. There’s a good reason why 8 GB is the new Standard — 4 GB of RAM isn’t enough to handle even a simple workload, much less 6 GB. I had never used Windows 11 before but it contributed to much of the bad experience. In order to download other files on your computer you have to disable S Mode on the Microsoft Store, which is hard to find a direct link to. Otherwise you’re pretty much stuck using Microsoft Edge or any other related products instead of whatever you want to download on your system. The second downside was trying to get the computer to connect to WiFi. Anytime that the computer goes to sleep, the internet connection suddenly disappears and whenever you open it back up, not only are you left without a network connection but the option to reconnect does so as well. I’ve tried checking Settings to enable the option again to no avail, and a Google search doesn’t help much. It left me with no choice but to literally RESTART the computer just to be able to connect to the internet again, which became incredibly tedious since it meant I had to close my work and reopen it every time I wanted to use my computer. Lastly, although it doesn’t affect much of the experience, the Right Shift button was a downside too. They shrunk the R-Shift key to over half its size to make room for a gimmicky key which has the exact same functionality as the Windows key but for the notifications tab. Never loved this change, especially considering I’m a right-handed typer. Overall, I’m not really a sucker for this computer. Whether you want to buy this for yourself or for someone else if it’s for school or anything else, knock yourself out. But keep the receipt handy in case the user experience is as similar to mine. For anyone else, save the money up for a better computer.

For the size and the price of the laptop, it’s really good for smaller projects or just for casual browsing. Definitely good to have for its portability and convenience!

I was a little worried after reading some reviews but I went for it anyways and i gotta say I'm impressed for $129!!! It took a little bit to get the updates done but once everything was done it was go go go!! I answered emails, streamed Netflix, and general browsing. I gotta say if I had a ton of windows open it did slow a little but it is a Celeron so I didn't expect lightning speed but well worth it for the price

I should have Listened to the people in the reviews. I purchased this yesterday evening. turned it on this morning and not only is the screen flickering but it’s flicking so bad I can’t maneuver around the screen to see anything. The Wi-Fi has disconnected, but I can’t see how to reconnect it due to the screen issue. Most definitely returning it today

At a price of $179.99 this Gateway laptop is a great deal. IT is great for all of my beginner needs. I am excited to see how this lasts over time!

It was my first laptop. I was so excited. But I had nothing but trouble getting it to connect to wifi, add app’s, get my email. Nothing worked right. I had to return it which was, luckily, easy to do at Target!
