I tried to like these, I really did!! But oh gosh, I couldn't get through more than two bites. I wasn't expecting a pop tart, but I was hoping that it'd be tasty! The flavor was just not enjoyable, unfortunately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the strawberry flavor, not too sweet tl me. Quite crunchy and smooth texture of cream inside. It is very good size for a lunch snack, my kids love to bring it to school.

This product is very dry and too sweet. The consistency is that of a stale pastry. As you chew, it becomes thick and pasty in the mouth. Actually sticking to my teeth and roof of my mouth. The filling has nice strawberry flavor yet it is way too sweet. If you are comparing this to Pop Tarts to say it’s healthier, keep this in mind: serving size of PTs is 2 vs 1 Gastro. So there really is no difference. At over twice the price for half the amount, I’m not sure this product is that superior.
Healthier alternative to a pop tart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these with my toddler. They were ok. They have a decent amount of filling. They were fresh and I liked the packaging. They are pricy if you’re used to eating pop tarts, but they’re healthier for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the Ghetto Gastro Toaster Pastry! I’ve never been a connoisseur of other toaster pastries and I think if I ever crave a product like that in the future I would purchase Ghetto Gastro again over other brands. The pastry had a nice snap to it and I enjoyed that the strawberry flavor was in not only the filling but the pastry dough itself. The strawberry flavor tasted real, not artificial. There wasn’t a frosting, and it honestly didn’t need it. I think it would have been too sweet with a frosting. This tasted like a toaster pastry for adults. Only giving four stars since the price is a bit steep.

Appreciate the thoughtfulness of the ingredients. Almost cookie like when not warmed. Good either way. The individuallly wrapped pastry is actually pretty filling. It's not excessively sweet and its flavorful. Only ever tried the strawberry. The price is neither here nor there. It's not bank breaking, it supports the business, and I have more peace of mind eating it over other options. Feels pretty worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is very catchy along with the name I love it. I was surprised it was only one pastry per foil packaging but I was surprised with the flavor it was a burst of strawberry. The strawberry filling was like a fruit snack all natural. Becareful when toasting it you only need a few seconds to get it warmed up and toasted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was super excited to try these toaster pastries! I ended up trying one right out the box and it was so good and sweet. I love that the tart is also lightly flavored as well. The jelly was very good, made with real fruit and lasted just like you were eating strawberries. They do have more sugar than I was hoping for though. It’s one tart per individual pack but very filling. I can’t wait to try one warm and toasted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried it with what the instructions said to do and I tried it cold both ways. It was very sweet in my opinion and this one tastes more like an actual strawberry flavor. The packing looks incredible . The price for it is not too bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely worthy of the added cost, these toaster pastries are thicker, heftier, and brimming with a super delicious, playful berry flavor - very much elevated from the ones we’re all familiar with but stopped buying after high school. I’m not sharing these with my kids!
Pricier than other brands of toaster pastries, but high quality ingredients make up for it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Ghetto Gastro Toaster Pastries in the strawberry flavor, and they're pretty good! The taste is rich and authentic, with a perfect balance of sweetness. They are pricier than other brands, but the high quality ingredients make up for it. On the downside, they can be a bit crumbly. Overall, they're a delicious, quick snack that's worth the splurge if you really like real strawberry flavor.

These are okay. The taste isn’t bad but there is a little of a distinct flavor as you’re chewing it. They are soft but also a little crunchy which I like. I also like that they are a “healthier” alternative to PopTarts but I don’t know if I’d buy them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved these! I refuse to buy other brands of toaster pastries that are full of artificial colors and flavors. These are a nice option that you can feel good about giving to your kids! No frosting and no weird colors. Sweet but not too sweet. An easy option for breakfast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very tasty! Nice four individual packs, it’s strawberry coated and tasted like real strawberry. It’s crunchy outside and softer in the middle. Just love it. Totally worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging design could use an upgrade. They tasted not very well. It's not a good value for the money. They tasted very dry. For the price, they're not worth it. Especially since they taste bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are surprisingly very good! The strawberry flavor is perfect, there’s no chalky taste and they aren’t stale when you open them. The packaging is cute and the wrapper is pretty regular. I would say the price is kind of high to only have one pop-tart per package.
