A: Hi Monique, the difference between this REFRESH hair milk and the RESTORE hair balm is that the RESTORE is a oil based product made of botanical oils, including Castor oil and Abyssinian oil, to keep your scalp nourished and to promote hair growth. The REFRESH hair milk is a Aloe Vera and coconut water based product to provide ultimate moisture to your hair and scalp. Both products are used daily on dry and itchy scalp. Also, depending how dry your scalp and hair gets, both products can be used together or you can alternate between the two. I’m trying to transition to sulfate free hair products to bring out my naturally, curly hair. I was also having a lot of scalp sensitivity. I purchased the whole Girl+Hair line and will most likely not ever turn back! I am a Caucasian blond and my young daughter is too. Not only is my scalp sensitivity gone, not better - gone, but my hair feels healthier and is no longer breaking. I am amazed at how clean my hair and scalp get and how little product I need! The conditioner is a leave in and it is so light and doesn’t weigh my curls down! And as a bonus, my scalp has a lovely sensation after washing. Highly recommend!

I know this is for "natural hair underneath protective styles" but I bought it because I have fine curly hair and a sensitive scalp that perpetually flakes from dryness at my hair line. I've tried avocado oil, various dandruff shampoos, various masks and moisturizers and this did the trick in soothing my scalp and stopping the flakes. There was some additional flaking the first 3 days as the old dead skin removed itself but I haven't had any issues since :)
The tip design is awesome for delivering this product to the scalp and not having it get stuck in layers of hair.

This entire line is BOMB! This is my second set of these products and I'm barely a quarter in my first. My scalp and hair feel cleansed, refreshed and moisturized and I don't do protective style, I'm a wash and go girl.
