@thecarpenterconfessions Happy Thursday!! It’s almost Friday and today is the last day of my buddy read for Hocus Pocus!! I had so much fun reading this book and discussing it with all the ladies in the group! So happy to have read this book and so sad it’s over! 🧹 I’m going to give a mini review on this book because the first half is just Hocus Pocus, but the second half is the new sequel. •Part One-Hocus Pocus Original Story: 5⭐️ •Part 2- New Sequel: 4.5⭐️ Hocus Pocus is my favorite Halloween movie and I was so excited when I found out there was a book. I picked it up from Target right away and joined the buddy read for it. This story is a classic and I don’t know how someone could hate it. Part 2 was really good as well, it just wasn’t Hocus Pocus. The plot was creative and it kept me intrigued the whole time. For a sequel and a Hocus Pocus one at that, it didn’t disappoint. The only thing I would say I didn’t love about it was if felt slightly more YA than Hocus Pocus. It didn’t bring the same feel to the story, but maybe that was the point. Overall I really liked it all and I will be reading this book every year! 🧹 I hope everyone has a great rest of their day and so happy it’s almost the weekend!! 🧹 🧹 🧹 #bookcommunity #bookstagram #booksofinstagram #booksofinsta #booksta #booknerd #booklover #bookworm #bookbabe #bibliophile #book #books #bookblog #bookblogger #bookbloggerofinstagram #bookreveiws #bookreviewer #bookreviewersofinstagram #reader #readingisfun #hocuspocus #hocuspocus25thanniversary #hocuspocusbook #targetfinds #halloweenreads #halloweenreading #sandersonsisters #thursdaythrills #buddyread

@rinneyreads 𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝑺𝑰𝑪𝑲! It being October 6th, I’ve already watched Hocus Pocus numerous times along with other Halloween movies. When I made my October hopefuls pile I totally forgot about this book but I felt it deserved it’s own post! I love everything about this movie and I decided to make a Hocus Pocus themed corner in my apartment (I rearranged everything just for the photo) and I love it! I will be reading this book this month along with the other thrillers I have on my list. Very interested in the sequel. Anyone else obsessed with all things Hocus Pocus?! I know I’m not the only one! Also.. How is there no black cat emoji?!
