A: The RAM and hard drive can be upgraded. The CPU is not upgradable.

Q: Is this laptop able to run Minecraft and overcooked 2?
A: Overcooked 2 does expect better graphics, but the windows store limitation only affects Windows in S mode. Any S mode laptop can easily be converted to full windows at no cost. The only caveat is that once switched, you can not go back to S mode. Windows S mode gives "enhanced security" by ONLY allowing you to use their store for SW, and only Windows Edge for "safe" browsing. Some would think they were trying to lock other suppliers out and force you to only buy from them and their partners.

The HP Laptop (15-dy2035tg) does not meet the minimum requirements set by the developer for Overcooked 2. Computers that use Windows S mode are limited to software from the Windows store, which allows them to be more secure and faster. You will be able to play Minecraft in Windows S mode.

Q: This laptop comes with Windows 10, yet all the pictures in the Target Ad show it with Windows 11. Why this long after the introcution of Windows 11 are these "new" computers running Windows 10?

Q: Not sure what S mode is?? Also does this laptop have a camera for Zoom and can you use Google Chrome??
A: Windows 11 in S mode is a version of Windows 11 that's streamlined for security and performance, while providing a familiar Windows experience. To increase security, it allows only apps from Microsoft Store, and requires Microsoft Edge for safe browsing. This laptop does have a built-in webcam and microphone.

Q: Is is difficult to remove from S mode so I can use Google ? I want to be be able to use Movie Apps like Peacock, Flo Racing, and NASCAR Scanner.
A: Follow these steps to remove S Mode from the Windows 10 operating system. Go to Settings. Then select Update & Security. In the left sidebar, click Activation. Then click “Go to the Store.” You will see this under the “Switch to Windows 10 Home / Pro” section. Press the “Get” button under the “Switch out of S Mode” section and wait for the process to complete.
