This sand pump features a powerful motor, 6-function control, and a built-in automatic timer. It meets the UL standards and is an excellent upgrade to the filter cartridge system on your Intex Above Ground Swimming Pool. This filter works for pools with easy set and a metal frame and ultra frame, up to 17,200 gallons.

Q: What is the power (HP), and can it manage an automatic vacuum such as the Zodiac G3 inline (requires 1HP).

A: Thank you for your question. This pump operates at .6 horsepower and would not likely be strong enough to operate a 1 HP vacuum.

Easy to assemble, used a YouTube video as guidance and it went together in no time. Been using for only about 5 days on my 15’x48” Intex pool but so far I’m impressed with the capabilities.
