The app and watch often don’t show accurate data when you “sync” it, but you can swipe out of the app and reopen it to refresh the data. I question how accurate it is, though, because I did the exact same workout with my friend who wore an Apple Watch, and her calories burned were wildly different than mine. It also can’t connect to Strava to even LOG anything! Spend the extra money and get a Fitbit.

They start counting steps after the initial 15 steps. All Dislikes!! I only got it to wait for a new Apple Watch release, and boy did they make it easy to switch back to the Apple Watch. 1) Doesn’t count steps accurately. 2) Receives phone calls, but not texts. 2) If you don’t log into the app & make sure the watch connects before midnight the app won’t save any of the say data. 3) Customer service will just give you the same 2 or 3 steps to “troubleshoot”. 4) Can’t even say it kept time correctly because sometimes it would randomly reset or slow down by 3 minutes (always 3).

Worst of both worlds

The short review, spend a little less and get a plain watch, or spend a little more and get a better smart watch. This thing is the worst of both. A quick note before the long review, my receipt and purchase history shows this item, the Air 3, but the actual box and device is the Air 4. They're probably repackaging old ones with a new model number or something, but that itself doesn't inspire confidence. This thing is slow. I knew I was getting something cheap, but I expected it to at least do a couple small things well enough. Not the case. First, it's not a smart watch. It's too dumb to function by itself, and it's simply a bluetooth accessory that needs a phone to function. If it loses connection to the phone for too long, it stops telling time accurately. The one thing a watch is supposed to do at the very least. Second, the lift to wake function is slow. You lift your wrist, give it anouther 4-5 seconds, and then it'll wake up. I can pull my phone out of my pocket to get the time quicker. Again, useless as a watch. Third, the only other function I really cared about was controlling my music from it. It has a music remote "app" that is basically the same as the control buttons you'd find on something like a wired headphone. It can only play/pause and skip forward/backword. It doesn't display anything besides those controls, no info from the music player like album art or song/artist titles. And once you use one of the controls, it goes back to the home screen immediately. If you pause, you have to go back into the remote to play again. If you wanna skip a couple songs, you can't do so without going in and out of the "app" to repeat the process. I can't speak to the quality of everything else like fitness tracking, because it's not what I'm looking for, and I also do not care to even test it. I will be returning this item. I'd suggest anybody reading this just avoid it all together.

I like the sleek look and the band is comfortable. I did not want to pay the price of an Apple watch and this one looked similar to one for a much more reasonable price. I’ve only had it for a month so far it has great being able to read messages, receive phone calls, and watch my daily activity. The only complaint I have is when it comes to reading the weather forecast it looses signal and reads it in Celsius.

We bought this watch for our son as a birthday present. Purchased in March, gifted mid-April. Initially it was fine and did what he needed it to. After a couple months, it switched to another language (I’m not sure which, but I think it was either Chinese or Japanese? I don’t know to tell which by the characters) and didn’t display the correct time or date. After an hour+ fixing that, it worked for a day and a half before the touch screen stopped responding. I can’t try restarting it because the touch screen has to work for that, so now I’m waiting for the full battery to drain, in hopes that resets the screen. Even if I manage to fix this new issue, I don’t trust that it will work long before something else goes wrong.
