Q: Do the individual earbuds work independently of each other. The reason I ask is I'm deaf in my right ear and would only need to use the left one. Will it work without also having to wear the right earbud?

Inconsistent product

I'm about to order my 4th pair, yes 4th. Pair 1 worked well, but i thought I lost them. I bought Pair 2 which were GREAT. Comfy, good sound, great for the gym which is mainly what i use them for, or running. Used them for over two years then forgot them at a hotel. Had found Pair 1 at this point so went back to those, left side stopped charging and wouldn't pair. Decided after a while to get a 3rd Pair. They arrived and wouldn't pair at all or hold a charge so I returned them, as insturcted by JLab ( after giving me a song and dance about warranty, Target is faster). I'm going to try a 4th pair but am not optimisitc. Was told by JLab customer support that 2% of their products are lemons. I find it hard to believe in that small percentage that I have/had two that don't work. We shall see, again my Pair 2 was great, but quality is inconsistent.

...the left ear bud stopped working on day 3. I figured it didn't charge fully so I used my crappy backups to give them a full day to charge and even though the charging case was saying it was charging, the light on the bud stayed white. In case you're wondering they actually didn't charge. Even using my crappy lose connection earbuds are better than new ones that won't charge correctly or whatever. I usually read the reviews this time I didnt. That won't happen again...

Have you tried toggling between the eq settings? Also, you may have a unit that is supported by our application for further eq customization. When you get a sec, please check your email. Hopefully, we can provide you with some useful troubleshooting. We're always here to help via support@jlab.com

Great sound and hours of play if you don't wear for extended amount of time

I love the sound, the longevity play but after a while it starts to press on my ear, causing it to be pretty painful.. I wanted to love these but it's no use if I have to take them off after a couple of hours.

I used these earbuds for two years. As a product they where great. Hooks sat comfortably around my ears, impossible to loose them and sound quality was okay. But after about two years left bud just stopped working. I haven't dropped the case or buds on the floor ever. Treated them with care. Sad that it just stopped responding out of nowhere. I really liked them but I'm not sure if I can trust this brand again.

My ears are a little on the small side and these create all kinds of soreness from basically everywhere on my ear that they touch. The sound quality and battery life seem good, but I have to keep switching ears and taking breaks due to the hard plastic pressing on my ear.

They work well: the battery lasts several hours, the sound quality is good, and I generally find them easy to use. However, occasionally, if I touch the left side at ALL, it picks someone off my contact list at random and starts to call them. And these are not even people I had recently called. There is nothing in the instructions that even indicates that it is possible to make a phone call by using the buttons on the earbuds.

After two months, I am totally frustrated. The fit and sound are excellent - everything else is pure aggravation. The touch to change modes/volume/on-off doesn't work well, and I had to buy special gloves to use the earbuds on my morning walk. Earbuds with click buttons are much better. Half the time I try to change something, it doesn't work or changes to something else. The earbuds will not charge reliably. You have to keep fiddling with them in the box to get them to charge. I get about two hours of play before they report "battery medium." The adapter - USB-A plug - is awkward; I had to get a special female adapter for for charging station. What's wrong with a standard USB-C connection. The earbuds do not always turn off (i.e., stay connected) in the box. So, when the phone rings, I can't hear it. The "Be Aware" mode is less than useless. It alters the sound, causing it to break up as if it were skipping.

I got them as a Christmas present and I did not realize I was naughty last year. In less than two weeks I the left one stopped working while I was working out. I tried to reconnect the blue tooth but it would not reconnect. Bought a second when I returned them. Delivery was a week and half later. Used them for a week and again while working out the left one went insane. Kept going on and out of movie and music mode. Did not matter if I had them in my ear or in case. The left totally stopped playing just like the first one. The next morning I tried to see if they would work. Now both were not working. So frustrated that I know I could have bought a much better brand at a much better price. I will not buy a third time. Not this product. Not any product made by you. I cannot express enough that you should not buy these earphones
