Smells like cheap mens cologne
Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the smell. It really stays in your hair and smells like cheap men's cologne or maybe Barbasol shaving cream. It helped the color a little, but not well enough for me to smell like it does.

NOT purple
This is blue toned, not purple, therefore does not help my platinum highlights. I didn’t mind the scent and as far as conditioner it softened my hair, but the purpose is to purple which it’s not. Returning

BLUE conditioner, will not tone correctly
This conditioner is BLUE, not purple. I purchased this to tone out some brassiness in my silver-white hair and it turned GREEN and won’t budge. I’ve used other purple conditioners before and never had this issue. Extremely upset after working so hard to get this color.

Decent Product, Terrible Fragrance
While I do think this conditioner works pretty well for blonde hair, I really dislike the scent. If you aren’t particular about scents, then it’s a decent product. Definitely boosts my blonde balayage without being too overpowering - I have a very light butter blonde color, nearly platinum. It does well with brightening it, but still keeping a warm tone without the orange/yellow. Another reviewer said it smells like cheap after shave or cheap men’s body wash and that is 100% correct. It sucks because the smell really lingers in your hair. Unfortunately, I’m gonna return it because of this. I’ve noticed hair product lines like L’oréal and even Redken are terrible with fragrances. It always smells cheap and/or overpowering. Even my Redken blondage shampoo smells like a men’s soap or cologne, and not in a good way. A cheap way, kinda like that generic “cashmere” candle scent. Yuck.

This and the shampoo is a Redken Blondage dupe! The conditioner is blue pigmented btw! I had noticeable color differences the first use.(my hair absorbs pigment VERY quickly so could depend on your hair type)
