Q: Are these supposed to be effective against Coronavirus?

A: So, presumably, yes. It is categorized as a disinfectant, which would imply germ/microbe/bacteria/virus killer/destroyer. It does list ethanol as an ingredient, but it doesn't list the other ingredients so it is hard to say. It would need to be at least 60% ethanol to be effective. It also says it cuts grease and since the Coronavirus is surrounded by a lipid (fat) layer, theoretically a degreaser could help to destroy the virus' outer lipid layer, causing it to deteriorate. Combined with the disinfectant quality, I would feel confident in using this product to protect against Coronavirus. Hope this helps.
