Used this for years. Absolutely adore the staying power and when it fades, it changes colors, at least mine does.

I don’t understand the reviews that say it washes right out. I used this on my blonde 6 year old and only left it in for about 15 minutes tops. It’s still in her hair a month later. Sure it faded and I saw some color come off in the pool but it’s definitely still there! I do wish I could figure out how to get the remaining color out!

While the color was cute the first couple of days, this hair dye only lasted 4 days and washed almost completely out after a couple hours in a pool.

Beautiful color selection. Doesn't have a scent. It does have some staining but it's easy to get off. You do have to be careful with this vibrant product because the colors will fade. But it's a really great brand.

Completely LOVED this hair dye! Going on 3 weeks of strong vibrant color, It’s such a pigmented dye and does not fade away easily. I purchased “Sea Witch” and it gave be a beautiful result on my light brown hair. I will definitely be purchasing this product again!

3 stars - I would NOT consider this semi-permanent. TLDR: Photo is 8+ months later, can't get it out! After using Overtone for brown hair, I wanted to try something more fun. I purchased Sea Witch and was given Chocholate Cherry. I did a test strip of Sea Witch and a peekaboo of Choc Cherry. I only left the color on for 30 minutes before I had to rinse. I was shocked (and pleased) at how beautiful and vibrant the color was on non-bleached brown hair. It worked really well for me. HOWEVER, it has been over 8+ months and color has only faded. I can't believe how long it has held on. The good news is that it has faded true to color. The bad news is it won't go away. I have tried clairifying and chelating shampoos, baking soda, dish soap, dandruff shampoo AND EVEN two treatments of color pigment remover (photo AFTER the treatments) and it barely touched it, just made my ends lighter. Unbelievable! Customer service was no help, "Just keep trying the clarifying shampoo." Yikes. It's amazing the color works without bleach, but BEWARE if you only want a true semi-permanent color for fun!

I loved the vibrancy of this color but it makes EVERYTHING bright pink. My ears, neck, clothes, are all pink. my tub stained as well but i scrubbed to get it out. I adore the purple color from this brand though!

This product is INCREDIBLE, color is vibrant and doesn't even bleed. It smells awesome and as it fades the color doesn't turn into a different ugly color, it's amazing. Applying it you do have to be careful because it can stain hands.

My daughter with very light brown hair tried the pony color to fantastic effect and got me into the genie color for my dark brown hair with grey ‘highlights’ coming in. I love how the greys in my hair are now vibrant purple and the genie color leaves a fantastic purple undertone to the rest of my brown hair. Some tips are to stock up on disposable gloves and use when applying. I also put on disposable gloves for the rinse out in the shower afterwards as otherwise, especially with the darker genie color, your fingertips will be tinted a purple tone if not using gloves. I love how long the color lasts (longer if you leave it in longer initially for an hour + lasts 5ish wks and about 3-4 for 30minites of dye time. Also, if I want just a hint of the purple in my hair I use a gentle shampoo during the first rinsing which reduces the intensity of the coloring overall.

So I did my hair green for my birthday, it has been well over a month and it is still very vibrant, doesn't bleed much in the shower, and defently has to be the perfect green shade for me (a good medium green, not too light or too dark) Smells amazing, most dyes do anyways. Easy to apply and just let it sit for hours, didn't stain much personally in terms of my skin after a shower. I still have half a jar left I'm going to use when this fades, if it fades.

Got for my 8:year Old and I was surprised at how much stayed in after we washed out the dye. Looks great! We'll see how long it lasts.

I bought Chocolate Cherry to refresh a magenta balayage that I have in my hair. The color is beautiful and the formula left my hair feeling soft, but even after a few washes, when my hair is completely dry! I'm finding pink residue all over my face and hands at the end of the day. I've never had this happen with a semi permanent haircolor before.

Purchased Anime because my 5 yo picked it out. I have bleached hair so it shows up nicely. It hasn't faded much since I put it in and hasn't stained anything that I've seen. I usually use manic panic (have tried other brands that failed terribly but won't name them) and like how this is similar so far. Has a bit of a strong smell, I guess it's nice? I'm willing to try another color or two in the future.

Tha color diluted is my absolute favorite. Such a unique pink! It’s great when it’s brought as well but I love it with half conditioner like in the photo below.
