I hate these jeans so much. At 22 weeks they were uncomfortable and at 36 weeks they are still uncomfortable. The elastic inset doesn’t have any soft fabric on the inside, so the elastic rubs against the skin around my hips and after a couple hours of it all I can think about is taking these stupid pants off. I did find they fit as I expected, I chose my pre pregnancy size and they fit just fine. Problem is there’s nothing holding them up (and I have a pretty good size bum that can pick up where some pants slack off) and I find myself having to stop every few minutes to hike them back up. I just wore them out for 30 minutes and was constantly stopping to pull them up. I am probably going to burn these stupid pants. Don’t bother.
These jeans are a really strange fit. I bought them early in my pregnancy but they are WAY too low rise for any pregnant woman to be comfortable with. I thought they would fit better as I got bigger. Nope. They will not stay up no matter if you size up or down. By the end of the day, they will literally fall off.
The way these jeans fit makes no sense at all...they're way too low to stay up, even in a smaller size than you'd normally purchase...there is nothing for your belly to "hold onto", and you will spend your entire day pulling up your pants. Choose a pair that have the belly band panel that go up over your belly. I would stay away from the "Inset Panel" type of maternity jeans at all.
