I wear heels daily and noticed my corns were pretty bad a YEAR ago. I didn't know how to remove them, tried filing, lotion, pedicures, etc. Nothing worked. I found Dr Scholl's a couple months ago and went thru two packs but it never seemed to fully remove them, but it did make progress - I'm fighting a year+ of this though. Soooo, I went to Target for more but I bought these because they were out of Dr scholl's and I'm glad!!!
First, they're cheaper....only $0.99! Second, you get enough pads to cover all the medicated discs in the pack (unlike Dr S). However, I don't think the up and up brand "pads/disc covers" would survive 2 days rubbing against shoes or showering, so I wrapped a bandaid around them to keep them in place (do this!!).
I wear heels daily which cause corns on next to last toes on both feet, 2 on each toe!!! - I put my first set of these on for 2 days and it removed 3 of the 4 corns! Your skin should turn white and either it peels off (I know, gross) with the medicated disc or you can scrape gently with your nail to remove it. There's one more (slightly bigger) that turned white but I couldn't remove so I'm going to try another 2 days...im confident that it will loosen up. My only "concern" is after the skin peels it looks bad so I'm hoping the skin heals in time for flip flops! Now if only I can give up my heels at work.
Give them a try but use a bandaid for extra hold!
These medicated corn pads are mediocre at best; they’re not as good as the previous reviews made them out to be, but they don’t suck as much as I anticipated them to. They do what they can for the price.
Well, there is about one good thing about this product. It worked for about, a week. But then, my corn got bigger and worse. FINALLY, I got the skin off of the top of it, but this corn pad had nothing to do about it. Also, the pads themselves just wouldn't stick. I ended up taping them to my foot, and it was SO uncomfortable. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know corns are gross. No one wants to deal with them. I managed to get a corn from a pair of cute shoes that I constantly wore. This product worked fabulously. I only used three. Three bandages for three days. There is no more corn on my toes and I threw away the cute shoes
