I like the Moto G series phones. I was using a G7 Power and on paper this was going to be a nice little upgrade but in practice using all the same apps and settings it feels more sluggish at times, and while the picture fidelity is higher the end result doesn't look much better after a side-by-side comparison over several tests. If you can get a G7 Power for cheap I'd say go with that. It runs an older version of Android but it's really snappy, takes great pics and is an all around good budget phone altogether. I've had the G4, G6 and G7 Power and each one did great but this one is not a step up like the others were.
