Our leave-on BHA exfoliant is formulated with an efficacious level of encapsulated salicylic acid, plus bioactive fruit acids, and is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of pores, smooth and even skin tone, revealing more radiant, brighter looking skin.
To Use: Shake well. After cleansing, apply an even layer onto face with either your palms or a cotton pad. Do not rinse. Start with application every other night and increase to daily use, if tolerable. Follow with serums and moisturizer. Slight tingling or redness upon application may occur. Q: Would this be an effective product for Keratosis Pilaris on arms or back? Or, is there another product that would be more effective? I've read that fruit acids can be helpful for this skin condition.

A: We don't recommend use on the body, as it's only been tested for the face. Instead we recommend the Perfector or Smoother Body Wash. You may use them as a body mask & wash. Be sure to patch test and use sunscreen daily.

Q: How is this a BHA Liquid Exfoliant if BHA (beta hydroxy acid) isn't even listed in the ingredients?

Q: Can this be used on skin besides the face? I have milia on my shoulders, back, and chest was hoping to use this to help the issue as I read BHA helps with that.

A: You definitely can use this on your body. Just be sure to patch test and follow up with SPF, as you would on your face.

I received this product this past week, and used it immediately. I am very impressed (so far). Have used for a few days with no irritation - which is a plus for my very sensitive skin. My skin feels smooth after using. I love it very much, but will probably go to every other day...just because. The more I read about this brand, the more impress I am. Great products at an excellent price point!! This is amazing. Also, great ingredients goes to show that you don't have to pay a fortune for excellent skin care products. This comes from someone who has paid tons for products and fell for a lot of gimmicks. Thank you - I am now a repeat customer.

Have been using it right out of the shower every other day as a replacement for manual exfoliant face scrub in the shower. Over a few weeks it has done wonders for evening out my skin texture and shrinking my pores. Sure the scent might be a tad strong but it’s not an awful smell by any means, I think it’s a lovely cinnamon aroma. Will continue to use this as a staple in my skincare routine.
Should be in a routine if needed.

I saw a review and bought it to try it out. This is very gentle. I use this in my skin cycling and my “skin wizard” recommended it to me and I was excited bc I already had it! Now that I’m in a skin cycling routine this has worked wonders. Things were coming up that’s been underneath for a while! Have back ups in my bathroom. If I like a product I stick with it and the price point is great!

I wanted to love this product because it’s less expensive than the BHA I currently use. However, it fell significantly short. I didn’t see any results after using the entire bottle and the scent was horrible.

This was my introductory product into sal acid. Previously I was using the "BHA" toner from Biossance which doesn't have actual sal acid in it but gentler alternatives (it also contains the caviar lime extract that is in this product). I could never be persuaded to buy the Paula's Choice BHA because the ingredient list didn't interest me, but when I was shopping for my sunscreen and came across this and seen the addition of the different extracts, I ordered immediately. It's been almost 2 months and I have about a quarter left in my bottle. I see noticeable improvements in my blackheads and will continue using this forever.

This is a repeat purchase for me as a sensitive-skinned, acne-prone person. It's really helped my overall skin health to not use physical exfoliants or liquid exfoliants in the shower. This formula is gentle enough and gets the job done. I've heard it's a dupe for a Paula's Choice product so, save your money with this!

I am not one to ever notice or complain about the scent of a product. But this one is not tolerable. I really really wanted to love it as a replacement for the Paula’s Choice BHA but just can’t do it. I think it works similarly to PC but I can’t get past the smell. It’s hard to describe but the best I can come up with is that it smells like a strong cinnamon but not in a good way. It’s odd and unpleasant.
