[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product that I have added to my nighttime skin care routine. Leaves my skin smooth and hydrated. A think layer goes a very long way.

Absolutely DO NOT use this near your eye area. Please avoid completely the eye area especially your eyelids with this product. It contains a medical grade amount of “retinol” and with that fact, with care, this could be very effective. But without great care, you can have a face with red itchy and burning blotches, very off putting and disheartening. For a better idea of how to use this, actually Google Tretinoin (Retin-A) cream. Please follow those directions. In addition, you can mix this at first with a gentle and mild moisturizer, thus diluting the strength a bit without rendering it completely ineffective. Basically, you will need to build up a tolerance but you must continue to not overuse. Never use it after using any glycolic acid wipes or anything of that nature. You’re asking for burning and painful itching not to mention yucky looking skin if you do that. I have many years of skin care expertise based on my desire to not look old lol. Be careful and follow directions and good advice and thus will be a valued part of your skin care routine.

Four stars for now and we’ll how it continues to work! When I opened it it appeared to have lumped together but I stirred it and then it looked normal. After one night of use I swear my skin is more plump and tight. Bought this to hopefully reduce over pigmentation from pregnancy. So far I prefer this to a more liquid product.

I am a brand loyal customer to Neutrogena as I have sensitive skin. I used this product for 2 days. The skin under my eyes is burned and swollen. Everything I put on it to relieve the area also burns it. It has been 5 days and it is still very noticeable. I don't know what was in the product that would have done this, but if you have sensitive skin I would be very leary of trying it.

Seems to be a good product. Had used.05 drops in the past with no irritation like this caused using daily. But, to be fair, the drops may have been too old. Using less frequently now and will likely be able to rate as a 5 star soon.

I ordered this online and I'm glad I opened the jar right away because the product looked yellow and somewhat lumpy. Maybe was out of date, but didn't see a use by date on it.
