Description
Gently cleanse, smooth, and balance your skin with Neutrogena Skin Balancing Milky Cleanser. Designed for dry and sensitive skin, this milky cleanser melts away dirt and impurities while moisturizing and soothing skin. Specially designed with dermatologists, this hypoallergenic formula respects skin's natural pH and moisture barrier. This soothing face wash for dry & sensitive skin effectively targets 100% of pore-clogging dirt while respecting skin's natural moisture barrier, leaving your skin clean, soft, and perfectly balanced. To use, apply to wet or dry face, massage gently, and wipe off with a tissue or rinse with water. This daily face wash is effective for cleansing before & after wearing your mask.

A: I use a cleansing balm first with this to remove sunscreen

Q: Why do companies feel the need to add fragrance to their products? I would have purchased this product had it been fragrance free. So many women are allergic or can develop allergic reactions.

A: We're sorry that cleanser wasn't a good fit! We do have fragrance-free skin care options including the Neutrogena Original Amber Facial Cleansing Bar Fragrance Free and Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Gel Fragrance Free. We hope one of those better meets your needs!

Q: Would this product work for oily skin?

A: Great question! This cleanser is actually a better match for dry and sensitive skin types, so we'd recommend checking out the Neutrogena Skin Balancing Clay Facial Cleanser For Oily Skin. We hope this helps!

submitted by rtyhjsrthnswarth - 2 years ago
A: Hello! Our Skin Balancing Milky Cleanser does contain a fragrance, please let us know if you have any other questions.
I use this first thing in the morning before my workout to get my skincare off so it doesn’t run in my eyes when I’m sweating. I love it and have repurchased. I personally don’t smell any chemicals or weird smell like some of the reviews claim. It’s gentle and non-foaming. Perfect

The smell was disgusting. I couldn't even wash my face. Didn't even finish using the bottle. Can't give a review if the product works or not, but props to you if you could even stomach the smell enough to wash ur face.

If Neutrogena discontinues this, I will have a temper tantrum! I never get excited about cleansers, but this is amazing! I became very sensitive after trying a department store brand, and had a reaction so bad, it sent me straight to the dermatologist for a steroid. Since then, my face has been more sensitive, and I developed a bit of eczema around my eyes. That said, I just learned about PHA's, after watching a dermatologist I follow on YouTube, and decided to take a leap of faith with this cleanser. It is so gentle, but de- gunkifies my pores, and leaves me hydrated with no residue. And, although I am not a fan of scented face care products, this has a very light, pleasant scent. After I cleanse, I apply azelaic acid, and my skin hasn't felt this soft, smooth, and clean in years. And with absolutely no sensitivity whatsoever, even around my eyes. THANK YOU NEUTROGENA!

You know that smell when a beauty product has gone bad? You know, that rancid-y oil smell? Yeah. That's what this smelled like. I like Neutrogen products and have used them for many years, but this one is a big no for me.

I like other Neutrogena face washes but this one was not it. Makes my face feel dry and have to use a lot of product to get it to lather on my face.

I have been using Neutrogena products on my face exclusively for nearly 20 years. This milky cleanser is absolutely divine. It can be applied to wet or dry skin. I apply it to my dry face, massage it in and then rinse it off. It’s leaves my skin soft and clean feeling. I also apply to wet skin like any other face wash and rinse it off. No lather….just that soft, clean feeling.

Does a very very poor job of removing makeup. If you’re in the market for a milky cleanser to remove makeup this is NOT it. It’s fine on bare skin but I feel like it is not cleaning my skin.

I normally use the Hydroboost gel cleanser but thought I would try this one. It felt like watered down lotion with a super strong, fake scent. My skin felt stripped after. Do not recommend. The Hydroboost cleanser is amazing, but this was just a waste of my money. I threw it away after 3 uses.

I was surprised when i found that this wash, marketed for sensitive skin, has a strong perfume odor. Not just lightly fragrances, but very strong perfume. I’ve developed a bumpy rash - have to toss this and waste the money. I expected better from Neutrogena.

I like that this product is a plain cleanser. Definitely would only use it before using a scrub just preference! Other than that love the smell & the price you can’t beat a lot of their products are overpriced but this one is perfect!
