@smilingmamma This week we are learning all about oceans🌊. Ocean is such a vast and interesting subject to learn. We are definitely looking to add more 📚 about this topic to our home library but for now, here are a couple of good reads. 1. Ocean! Waves for all by Stacy Mcanulty This is such a simple, fun and entertaining book with just the right amount of information.I really liked the narrative being casual and easy to understand for young kids. The book starts with listing out all the five oceans, then talks about when and how the ocean is formed. As you read further, you learn about how the ocean life started from algae to the largest of all the 🐳.It definitely has a short message for the reader about the importance of saving the ocean & the ocean life because without the ocean we can’t think of life on this planet 🌎. My daughter also loves the information and fun facts and would you rather at the end of this book. 2.Inky the Octopus Based on a true story, Inky the Octopus talks about the daring escape of an Octopus 🐙 from his tank from the National Aquarium of New Zealand. The beautiful illustrations grabs the attention of the reader and helps young readers visualize the story. The bonus real stories of octopuses around the world at the end is great! Both of the books are recommended for ages 4-8 years.
