A: Hello - The bottom part of this pet carrier duffel bag is not waterproof, however there is a removable pad on the bottom that can be taken out and washed.

This pet carrier is luxurious and we'll constructed! We use it for our pet rabbit and it works perfectly. It's structured enough that it sits up nicely, but soft enough that it is comfortable to carry on your shoulder. The removable lining is great and we just threw it in the washing machine, no problem! It's a very nice size and gives our small rabbit a lot of room, with space for a few toys, chews and portable food/hay and water dishes.

I ordered this pet duffel bag for our cat when we are traveling out of state in May. It is for a smaller dog or cat ( up to 25 lbs). It also has removable quirked liner and two different openings for your pet. Can be carried by its handles or has long cross strap. Very well made and comes with a limited 5 year Warranty. Spot clean only. I added a photo with my medium sized dog to give an idea of size. Would def recommend.
