My daughter and I have multiple Quests, and we LIVE by this attachment. No more heavy front Quest with the new Meta Attachment. Its Multi size compatible! if you are second guessing on getting it dont, it is worth every penny! No more Strap hassle, or snapped plastic any longer. With a few simple twists it fits like a glove!

Reduces the pressure on the eye area greatly by distributing the weight of the device.

The advanced/upgraded headset is a necessity at some point bc of the comfort and convenience. This headset adjusts by simply turning a knob.. The basic original strap reminds me of the elastic on older fashion briefs for men. It needs to stretch over the wearers head! Doable for one person, but if there are two users, it'll likely need to be adjusted which is done the same way as adjusting length on a bra strap (but with inch wide elastic). The upgrade is truly worth the money. Contact Occulus if there are any problems with their products! They want happy users and have a generous replacement policy.

Strap came free with Target Oculus purchase. My son does say it is more comfortable that the “stock” head strap.

Cracked Support Useless

Cracked after a month of use. For some reason, mine has absolutely no serial number or date code so Oculus Support won't replace it. Buy a third-party one because this experience is horrible. Oculus doesn't even have a phone number to call so I can explain my issue.
look for an pffbramd or more cost friendly adapter

cracked after careful use. was super comfortable when it was still one piece, bit I agree with what others are saying and it shouldn't be so expensive for being so fragile and poorly made. have had it for a few months before it snapped on one side.

Way more comfortable than the strap that comes with the Oculus. The material does seem cheap though and would probably snap if not handled carefully.
Made my Oculus 2 lot more easier to use

This makes wearing the headset for long periods of time so much more comfortable! I don’t understand the bad reviews- I’ve never had a problem with the quality and I’ve been using it for six months.

As others have suffered through as well, our Elite Strap didn't last long. It was very helpful while we had it but the side piece broke after less than 3 months, despite careful use.

Overall this strap WAS great, it’s super easy to adjust for different people, the back of the head was cradled, and it spread around the weight better. Until it cracked of course. I’d heard from both Oculus and social sites about the cracking problem and that they would replace it for free if it happened to crack. So, I was EXTREMELY careful with the head strap to avoid cracking. Yet, it still cracked! It cracked about halfway through on one side, so to be safe I super glued that side and any other tiny cracks I could find, then wrapped each side in tape to alleviate the pressure that must be causing the cracking. EVEN THEN it continued to crack on both sides, and it is no longer usable after a recent huge crack, while using the headset. I reached out to Oculus (Facebook), they told me I needed to provide alllll this information and pictures. So I did, I took pictures of the crack and both sides and the box and the serial number and version numbers whatever and my receipt that I had to dig up etc. etc. sent it to them, and absolutely nothing. Sent another reply asking if there was an update, still nothing. So in the trash it goes because it’s a piece of junk. Why in the world have they not fixed this yet? Are they TRYING to loose sales? Overall, get a cheaper one elsewhere that actually stays together. Oculus customer service sucks.
