Save money and put treats under paper cups
Fun and working puzzle, but suggest using larger kibble.

Fun concept and my cat enjoys it. She does like to dig her face in there but then encourages her to use her paws to scoop out the bits of kibble. My only (personal) complaint is that maybe it's more fit for larger sized kibble.. The dry food I use tends to get stuck in the crevices of the sliders and I have to use a q-tip to drag it out. Otherwise, it's a good puzzle for my cat to mentally work and reward her rather than yell at me for food. I'd suggest getting it when there's a deal for the item/target circle coupon (thats when i got it), since I personally find it a bit pricey for what it is.
Cute toy but cats not interested

Great concept but my cats wouldn’t play with it. The toy worked as intended with the openings holding the treats and the sliders moving easily but my cats just weren’t interested.

Food can get stuck in the side tracks where the sushi rolls slide, but other than that it's very functional. This is the first slow feeder / puzzle feeder my nearly ten years old cat has ever used so it took her a couple of days to figure it out. She is a pawer though so because the box is so light it ends up it different places in the kitchen
Awesome toy for both my cats!

I wasn’t sure what my cats would think of this toy, but both of them love it! My cat that’s not good motivated has no eaten ANY treats I’ve ever given her, and when I put them in the bento box she does! I was amazed. My 3yo and 14yo cat are both equally interested and play with it at the same time. Between the 2 of them it only takes them a couple minutes to finish it, but I’m thrilled they have something easy and low maintenance to work their brains for a bit. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for $15 and I want to find other toys like this to get too.

My cats who are 2 and 3 really enjoy this. One of the "Sushi" pieces doesn't move as smoothly as it should it gets stuck. I got this on clearance so if you can find it grab it.

my cat loves this bento box puzzle. she figures it out in a minute flat. she uses her paws/ claws to scoop out the treats. i see a lot of comments saying “my cat couldn’t fit their face into the holes…” i’d say that’s user error. they need to use their paws. no issues or complaints from my furry kid.
They love it

My two kittens were not interested in this toy at all. They both love treats, however they didn't go beyond sniffing it then walking away. I kept it for 5 days and finally returned it.
Great for kittens - start them early!

My cat loves finding her favorite treats in this toy. I’ll load it up in the morning and throughout the day she’ll discover hidden treats. She is still trying to understand the function/game of it all, but with more time & training (& treats!) I’m sure this will become one of her favorite toys.

My cat slowly opened the sushi and started to purr like a motor! He loved it so much. I started to get concerned when my cat became incessantly obsessed with pushing the sushi. He started not paying attention to the food in it but instead solving the sushi puzzle. I realized it was an abaca for cats, and he was trying to solve the theory of everything with the sushi bento. It unlocked his hidden genius!
Not just for cats

I actually bought this for my guinea pigs. They figured it out pretty quick, but love treats so don’t get bored with it. The compartments are a bit too deep for them so that means I have to fill it pretty full. They don’t mind!
