Book Synopsis

Scamper, the squirrel, has a morning routine of expressing his gratitude for all things big

and small, which most of us fail to notice, appreciate, and be thankful for.

Scamper marvels at life, and makes it a point to appreciate everything he encounters,

from warm sunlight to the green grass, to the chirping birds and the friends he has, and

never forgets to appreciate himself, either. This unlocks his inner potential of leading a

happy and meaningful life.

This is a book that will take a child and adult through a magical mind journey, a joyous

inner journey expanding the heart, filling it with warmth, love and joy, and teaching our

kids to be more self- aware and heart-centered.

The unique thing about Michal's books, which sets them apart from other books in the

same category, is the utter simplicity of her poems. While the messages are always

positive, empowering, motivating and encouraging, the short, simple rhymes are

something that children can sing and easily memorize.

This particular book is co-authored by Michal's 12 year-old daughter Loren who has conceptualized her mother's earlier book and musical, "I'll see you in my dreams."

Review Quotes

Scamper has a secret, but he can't tell anyone. Not just yet. As we read this special book, we see so many things to love about Scamper. His happy attitude, his thankfulness, the way he enjoys the beautiful world around him. Whether it's day or night and whatever he comes upon, Scamper loves the sights and beauty around him and tells of each wonderful thing he sees. But what makes Scamper so grateful for the things around him? You will have to read Scamper and the Magic of Appreciation to find out. Scamper will tell you what to do every morning to drift off into your own magical world.

Michal Noah and Loren Noah wrote such a cute and special book. I love the way they so sweetly show Scamper's excitement and his love and gratefulness for his magical surroundings. Children are very special and I appreciate books such as this to encourage children to go beyond their limits and do things they want to do. Teach them while they are young and fearless, not afraid to try new things. And Chrissy Fanslau did such a beautiful job with the illustrations. They have just the right amount of vivid colors and perfect detail to give the story just what it needed. I read this book several times because I loved the story and the sweet pictures on each page. And isn't Scamper just the cutest squirrel ever? Scamper and the Magic of Appreciation by Michal Noah and Loren Noah is a must for every daycare and preschool class. And it's wonderful for your small child's library. I know your child will love Scamper as much as I do. Joy Hannabass for Readers' Favorite

Scamper and the Magic of Appreciation by Michal Noah and Loren Noah is the story of a fun-loving squirrel called Scamper who has a secret to being so happy. Every morning, he thinks of all the things he is thankful for in his life. He is thankful for the beauty of nature all around him and for his animal friends. By acknowledging these things every day, he starts the day in a good way and is happier for it. Told in rhyme, it is easy to understand and kids will be quick to learn the story and this could be useful if they are learning to read. The bright colours will make it attractive to younger children and a squirrel is great main character to have.

Michal Noah and Loren Noah have created a charming and fun book with Scamper and the Magic of Appreciation. It is a great book for young children to teach them the importance of gratitude and even mindfulness. The pictures included are simple but wonderfully drawn and they really help to tell the story as Scamper shows the reader his favorite things. They have created a great book for kids aged between 3 and 6 or so and I think this is a fun way to get them started with daily gratitude exercises. This way it will be second nature to them when they get older and they will automatically start their day with it. I think it could do well on the market and I would definitely recommend it.
