This hypoallergenic fragrance-free dish soap is dermatologist tested and made for sensitive skin. It’s gluten free, too. Our safe and effective formula is 100% biodegradable, made with plant-based ingredients and is designed with safety in mind – EPA Safer Choice Certified Product and USDA Certified Biobased Product 95%. I like using this to wash my baby’s bottles. Price is decent. But using this for actual dishes is bad because you need a lot to get them clean where as dawn doesn’t use as much soap to get sudsy

I’m particular about the products I use in my home. I usually use everything unscented. I tried this because in cooking I love lime and ginger. I wasn’t disappointed. It is a refreshing scent but not over powering. I would use this scent in other products if offered by seventh generation. I’ve always been happy with their product line of unscented for my family member with autism who is extremely sensitive!! Thank you for offering both!!

I have been trying to change everything used in my house to organic, plant based, chemical/preservative free etc. This was a swap out for the previously used, bad for the environment dish detergent. This product is absolutely horrible on cleaning grease. It doesn’t even make a dent in getting the grease off any daily use kitchen items, like dishes, pots, pans, or baking use items. However, on the bright side, it is very sudsy and smells wonderful!

I've been using this soap for the last 8 years. It does it's job really well. However, I've recently switched over to up & up fragrance and dye free and I'm amazed. Works just as well and scraggly doesn't dry out and crack my skin. Also, this soap gets gelatinous, gunky and cloudy for some reason. I don't have that problem with up & up.

The soap is great. Love Seventh Generation products. The design of the 50 ounce refill bottle is THE period WORST period. Nothing about it makes sense. It's clearly not designed to pour easily or they would have placed the spout at the end opposite the hand-hold. How did this get past product testing?

I really want to love this product but it isn’t safe for me or my children - It contains preservatives in the “Isothiazolinone” category which are banned in many European countries but allowed here unfortunately. These preservatives are highly sensitizing and allergenic. I wish they would reformulate it to not contain those preservatives.

I have been buying this dish soap for as long as I can remember. I just purchased two more bottles and it is now a cloudy white color. It is not clear anymore??

Our plant based formula can appear cloudy, crystalized, or solid white in colder temperatures. This is normal and does not impact how well the product works.
