    Really like the look and spaciousness. I used twice with no issues (minus normal scratches) but in the third trip the handle will not go up, it is stuck in the down position. I’ve tried to email the email address published online for warranty support but it bounced back. My next stop is Target. I am within 12 months so hopeful that I will get a new suitcase or my $$ back. I would not buy again because I travel with a large checked bag many times a year and this will not hold up. Maybe if you don’t travel much or are a car-only traveler it would work.

    This suitcase didn’t last a year. Corners are completely cracked and unusable. I called Target customer service, they said there is nothing they can do as I called after the 365 days. Even though the website says 10 year limited warranty, which should cover cracks. I called 14 months after I purchased it, a little over a year and they won’t do ANYTHING. The only thing going for this suitcase is the functionality. But it won’t hold up for more than a year. For $200 I would expect more. Also, remove the warranty info from the site, as apparently there is a not a 10 year warranty.

    Purchased in spring ‘22. Used the suitcase for a few trips and loved the spaciousness and compartments. And then… plastic completely cracked open around one wheel. Sounds like this is a theme with Open Story—at least this size. Going to try to take advantage of warranty. Wish me luck.

    An airline destroyed my suitcase and I bought this as a replacement. I absolutely love this brand. It’s held up so well. I like that both sides fully zip closed.     This suitcase is well made . It it’s made of Macrolan Polycarbonate plastic which is significantly stronger than ABS suitcases . This added strength helps maintain a rigid yet shock absorbing outer shell which is important for airport luggage systems. The wheels on the suitcase are larger than competitors which allows for easier rolling through parking lots and rocky surfaces when moving the luggage. The wheel are solid and roll nicely when filled to max weight. The linear inches places the luggage acceptable to majority of airlines. Due to the boxy shape the volume of the luggage is significant and can easily hold multiple weeks worth of clothing. The inside luggage uses strong zippers that show no sign of breaking . This luggage has already flown over 10,000 miles and has gone through luggage checking multiple times. The side handles are sturdy and handle the weight well.

    This bag has to be checked when flying. It has pockets inside for separating my things. The wheels roll freely and are easy to maneuver. The material is sturdy and durable.
