A: Suave Smoothing Cocoa Butter and Shea Body Lotion has a shelf life of 3 years if you store it in a cool dry place. On the product you should see a production code that starts with the number 1 or the number 0. It has 5 numbers, 2 letters and 2 more numbers. The first two numbers represent the month, the next two numbers represent the day and the last number represent the year followed by the manufacturing site. For example, 04272PP01 MMDDY/Plant code. I like lotion that absorbs quickly fresh out of the shower and this made me feel like I had residue afterwards. The scent was great

The formula wasn't thick or runny but I felt like it didn't really hydrate my skin as much as my other lotions. I love that Suave has always been an adorable brand and this does not change my view on their products much. I just didn't particularly like this formula.

Sometimes it might be a little apparent that you can feel it on your skin when it dries, but definitely not as bad as other lotions at bargain prices.

I have a preference for thicker creams than lotions, and this was just a little too water based for me. My hands felt slippery. I thought I would like this smell because I do like cocoa shea but it wasn’t my favorite. It might have been because of it’s texture. However, this may be perfect for someone who prefers a lighter lotion.
