A: see no way to open one handed. must hold bottle with one hand and twist and lift spout with other.A true one handed bottle is the Contigo with just a push button from finger of hand holding it. But Takeyaisgreat

Q: How many pieces need to be taken apart when washing it?

A: There are two o-rings that can be removed from the lid for a deep cleaning. Otherwise, under normal use you can place the lid in the top rack of the dishwasher and the bottle in the lower rack for regular washing. If you drink any beverages with proteins, milk, etc., you will want to deep clean the o-rings.

Q: The packaging and website say this is dishwasher safe but the bottom of the bottle says handwash - which is it?

A: We are continuously testing and improving our products. After extensive testing, we have proved that our bottles are now in fact able to be cleaned in the dishwasher. While we recommend a daily hand wash to maintain the cleanest conditions, note that you can place your bottle in the dishwasher. We recommend that all lids be placed in the top rack. Note that this does not apply to any bottles with a metallic colored coating (such as slate, brushed silver, or ash rose).

Used it for a road trip LA to SF and back. Put in cold water with a handful of ice. After 12 hours, ice had melted but water was still cold! Only problem I have is that it nicks easily. Don't know where it hit. Just saw it when I got back home. No spills when I sip. Spouts are easy to clean, too

This is way too expensive and doesn't keep cold with ice. You are basically just paying for a regular water bottle that doesn't do anything. This is so frustrating with how much it costs and it doesn't work at all how it's supposed to.

Second purchase in a smaller size, thinking might be more effective at cold maintenance. Love the spout, handle, bumpers, ease of filling and cleaning. However, not good at keeping water cold. I add about half ice and water, and ice melts quickly. Water cool at 12 hours but nowhere near 24 hours. Still love bottle and design but not for cold maintenance.

I love this bottle! It keeps my ice water cold all day! It does not leak if it falls, or when I drop it. But the thing I like the most is that it is easy to clean. Other bottles that I have had were not easy to clean, especially the top. Also, the top is attached so you can’t loose it. The handle makes it easy to carry, and it is not heavy like some other well known brands.

Added this large capacity bottle to supplement the smaller ones I already own. It's built like a tank, but not too heavy to carry around, and holds temperature all day. If the lid is screwed on, this thing WILL NOT LEAK. I use it with the straw lid (separate purchase) as that works best for me. Big fan of this bottle (and all the others tbh).
