@bookies4rookies 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕭𝖚𝖙𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖗 & 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖂𝖗𝖊𝖓 𝖇𝖔𝖔𝖐 𝖗𝖊𝖛𝖎𝖊𝖜 Calling all Morbid fans & crime lovers 🗣I’ve always loved the way Alaina & Ash tell a story, so it’s only fitting that I should expeditiously read this book! Alaina is a beautiful writer & makes me want to go back to school at 29 to be a medical examiner or detective (& I love my career) which shows great talent in of itself lol. Describing the process of determining the time & manner of death of a body & the mental toll it takes on a person whose job it is to make sure that person’s story is told is something I found insanely interesting 👀 This story follows 2 narratives, one being a gross hemorrhoid of a man (hehe) Jeremy, who is a serial killer. The other is Wren, the skillful medical examiner who investigates the many victims of this vile man. There are some twists & turns I did not see coming & I’m shocked at how dark this story was! I could connect the crimes to quite a few serial killers from Morbid episodes! I urge you to get your hands on this immediately.
