READING THOSE TWO BOOKS BACK TO BACK (BASICALLY) AND FINDING YOURSELF IN THE BIGGEST READING SLUMP THAT HAS EVER EXISTED 2. Tricking your husband into taking a walk when your true intention is to take pictures of the cherry blossoms 🙃 At this point, Beans is reading faster than me. I'm on page 150 of #TheWeddingCrasher and I can safely say we’re deep into RomCom Town (think: Abby Jimenez, think: fake dating, think: workaholic lawyer meets his bubbly, carefree match). If I weren't so emotionally damaged from my prior two reads, I would be flying through this. It checks all the boxes and this is the most “it’s not you, it’s me” situation to ever exist. It’s worth noting that the author published #TheWorstBestMan in 2020. If you want to play by the rules, pick up that one first. If you want to live a life of chaos (my go-to choice), you can skip straight to this one. Sending the biggest thank you to booksparks for sending this my way as part of their #SPRC2022 campaign.
