Q: I think there are mice inside a garage wall. If I use this, will they eat this and die, leaving us with dead mice decaying inside the wall?
A:Â After eating the bait from the Tomcat Mouse Killer II Disposable Station the rodent will leave the bait station, continue to wander about until such time that the bait affects him to the point that he stops moving. The rodent will die anywhere. There is nothing in the bait that will prevent the rodent from smelling while it is decomposing after it dies.

Q: What happens if a dog, cat, owl, fox, etc. ingests a mouse that's eaten the bait - won't they get sick and potentially die as well??
A:Â If an animal consumes a mouse/rat that is believed to have consumed this product there is a possibility of secondary poisoning to the pet/animal although it is unlikely.

Q: Does mice gets locked inside the bait or eats the poison and dies elsewhere?
A:Â this is what their website states The rodent, seeking out food, locates the bait station, crawls inside and nibbles the bait. Then it crawls back out and likely heads to its nest to die within a day or two. All Tomcat bait stations are EPA approved for either use indoors or outdoors, and are specifically designed to prevent tampering by kids or pets from accessing the secure bait depending on the type.
