Description
The Woman in Me is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.

I have always loved Britney, but I think I love her even more now. Kind, strong, forgiving - she’s an absolutely beautiful person with a powerful story to tell. There are reviews that say it wasn’t proof read, or that a child wrote it, but it’s the style she chose, and it works. It is an easy read, but that’s not a bad thing.

This was the best book I’ve ever read. Just absolutely amazing if you’re a fan of Britney! She explains in detail so many feelings shes had over the years and so much she’s had to accomplish. We as fans, couldn’t be more proud of her for everything she’s ever done 💞

She at the end overcame many obstacles. She was young in the Mickey Mouse Club group and traveled a lot made sure her family's house was paid for did a lot of good things. She did many of amazing things to help people especially all of her family members. Some people let just say we're very ungrateful. It was like it was never enough. She was under her father.s conservation. She didn't know that she can claim ownership by herself because everybody in town was on the father side until she met someone that gave her her chance, and let her speak about everything that went on in her life. It's an easy to read book. It just said it mean how everybody's pointing the finger at her the truth is, they really isn't much wrong with her. She was so upset. She couldn't see her two children. That's when she shaved her head and went crazy. She missed two kids terribly, and her ex-husband wouldn't allow that, I would've did the same thing. Nothing could keep me away from my children/child. Even how she portrays things it's very sad because at one point she was only allowed to eat can vegetables and whatever food she was allowed to eat under her father supervision. She totally missed her teenage is the best she has of growing up. The part that I find most intriguing is the fact that she had to go into a psychiatric clinic for a long period of time, and she was talking to a friend having a cigarette and I guess something snapped in her she did not want to be there. I believe it had a lot to do with the nurse saying that she can make her own decisions. She said much more than nurse, but I'll keep it simple. She did not know she had rights she did not know that she can be her own person that man that they call her father dad is a horrible man and so is his wife for doing what they did to that poor girl Britney Spears , even her younger sister. The brother really wasn't in the light as much but they were very hungry people and they got back together after so many years because of the money opportunities that were flown towards Britney Spears. It made her cry that day when she looked at the TV in the psychiatric ward with T-shirts, free Brittany. She knew she had to take a stand and she did even though she's not with her husband now , nor her family . Britney is a free spirit ! This is part in the book is when Justin made Brittney get an abortion, and she loved him with all of his heart, they even wore matching outfits at the VMA awards it bothers me that Justin had slept with so many women, and she was so blindfolded because of all the medication she was taking for so many years that she didn't know what was real and what wasn't. She loves the Lord with all her heart , some prayers take longer than others to ask for but she's a trooper in my book. So when I see her flashing nudes on Instagram or Facebook or any kind of social media, so what she was never able to run wild and free like all teenagers should be able to do . Her regiment was so strict and was under every eye watching her all the time. Brittany also didn't have a lot of friends you figure a big celebrity, she would have a large amount of friends, however, she did become close with a few big celebrities and they all stand up for her. Her children are very spoiled and they think they can get whatever they want from her and just because her husband, ex-husband is raising them. sorry boys but you're wrong on that one. Once you reach adulthood you have to stop bringing in the bread just because your mom is a famous singer. That doesn't mean she has to give you a dime. They don't even visit her at her house, Kevin thinks that the allowance and money and taking care of the kids are never gonna come to an end but it will point I wish her nothing but the best it's a very good book, it's a very quick read, and I think anybody will enjoy it

After reading Jeanette McCurdys “I’m Glad My Mom Died,” I was expecting so much more from this book. Honestly, I felt like a 3/4th grader wrote it - extremely simple/easy read. I made it to chapter 19 and ended up returning it. I couldn’t emotionally connect, there isn’t any depth. “This happened then this happened and I was sad. And then this happened,” is more or less what it felt like..
Glad I could read it

You can tell Brittany wrote this book by the verbiage used. Glad I was able to read this. Probably won’t read it again.
