A: Yes it does, and from cancer as well. I have been taking it for years now, and I think I am at a point that it has just done it's on and is in a stable mode. As long as I take it, the job has done it thing. I personally would have like just a bit more before it could do any more, but that is just my problem. I'm sure there are different outcomes. I’ve been taking my supplements religiously daily for 3 months & I haven’t seen any significant change. I started experiencing hair thinning & thinning spots on my head after having my twins. I changed my diet, started exercising, taking biotin, literally I’ve tried over 13 diff vitamins & supplements for hair health over the past 3 years & have had no success so I bought this hoping it might be the answer but I don’t think so? I’m going to continue taking them for 3 more months. I feel like maybe in 6 months if I don’t see any change then I’m giving up on this brand but by the looks of the first 3 months I don’t have high hopes. I genuinely hope there’s a turn around bc I want this product to work, it wasn’t cheap!

Shellfish allergy beware. When the product arrived it says this product contains mollusks and shark. Crustaceans and molluscs are sometimes collectively referred to as shellfish. I couldn't even try this and had to return it.

2 months in, and I am seeing a bit of new growth, and my part is less obvious. I'm also using minoxidil so it is difficult to determine if growth is form this supplement or the minoxidil, or the combination. This was recommended by my dermatologist as a more affordable option compared to Nutrafol. I had a zinc deficiency, which is being attributed to my hair loss, and this product has plenty of zinc.

I am a supplement junkie. I used viviscal in 2018 and my hair got REALLY long. I never had a problem with my hair “quality” but I always wanted them longer, I have loose curls so it would always feel like it takes forever to grow. And then I came across viviscal. I took it for 6 months then a little bit longer ( don’t really remember how long). Lately had to cut my hair a bit to refresh it from the dye , so I started taking viviscal again , almost 3 months ago. Already see improvement in texture and growth. I do take other supplements but viviscal always creates the fastest difference in length. That’s the only supplement I recommend to all my friends since it’s the only one I’ve used specifically for hair and I know it works.

My dermatologist told me about this stuff and at first I was dubious. Fine hair runs in my family and I am super conscious of it. I don’t know that this makes it thicker, but ever since I started taking it, It improves the quality of my hair. I am now able to grow it super long, whereas before I had trouble with that. I found out I have a iron deficiency and the house heater has caused by skin to dry out and hair to fall off. Also, work stress and pregnancies have caused my hair loss. I started taking Viviscal, multivitamin, and turned down the heater. I have been taking it for 2 months and I have noticed less hair falls off. I moisturize my scalp with coconut oil too. I noticed that I have to drink lots of water with this pill. Get blood work done. It might be an underlying health issue.
