TargetFinds Not a thriller, but a good read anyways - This is not like Gone Girl. This is not a “psychological thriller” however it is very much Days Of Our Lives. A lot of confusion and unexpected events. I really enjoyed reading this by the pool. The reviews on the book will have you believe it is some sort of literally masterpiece, and if you believe that, you’ll be let down. But if you go into it thinking I just need a pool/beach read, you’ll be very pleased.

I love the book description they chose to write for this one. “You will make many assumptions. Assume nothing.” It’s absolutely perfect and extremely true. This is a story about a marriage, a divorce, and a new marriage. You will assume you are reading about a jealous ex-wife but again, remember, not to assume anything. I’m not going to write much more about the premise of the book because there’s a reason you want to go into it partially blind. Long story short, I freakin’ loved this one. What an extremely well-written book! There are so many twists and turns and you won’t see them all coming. The characters....beautiful. I felt like I really knew each of them so well and I could really see each scene and moment played out inside my head. I listened to most of this on audio and it was phenomenal. The voices were perfect and kept me on the edge of my seat (literally, I was driving) the entire book. HIGHLY recommend the audio for this one but also recommend just reading it by book as well 🤓 This book gives you a sense of completion. You aren’t left needing more, guessing more, or hanging off the side of a cliff. Finally, a thriller that gives you all the answers. A perfect epilogue. A perfect ending. I honestly don’t have any complaints about this one. I truly loved it and at the end of the day, I’m honestly starting to miss the lives of these characters. 5/5 ⭐️ easily.
