Bought regular length in store because these jeans fit so well. I’m 5’9” and regular length is about ankle length for me - which is fine with my boots. But I also ordered a pair of long length from the service desk while in the store. They are perfect length for wearing with my tennis shoes. Just ordered my third pair.
Firstly, these jeans are very comfortable. They don't feel like jeans. I bought the 2S based on my measurements. I could button them, but I wasn't comfortable.
They were also 2 inches shorter than I expected. I've never had to buy R jeans, I have a 29 inseam. I wish I'd noticed it tells you the length of S, R & L in one of the descriptions. S is 27". I went to the store and tried on the 4R. Much more comfortable and the length was perfect!
I ordered 3 pairs in the same size and wash and they were all different. One pair was a size too big, the other was a size too small and the third fit, but the right leg was a lot tighter than the other and the side seam was crocked, it ran in the front of my leg. Not only did the seam feel weird on the side of my knee cap, it looked so awkward. I guess you get what you pay for with $20 jeans.
I normally like these jeans. The size 2 was too big for me so I ordered two pair in a size 0. One pair seems to fit me OK, but the other pair is even bigger than the size 2 I tried on in the store. It’s very frustrating when the sizes are not made the same!!
As another reviewer mentioned, these jeans have a fair amount of stretch to them. I ordered down a size and also ordered Long since they are technically an 'ankle fit' jean. The long size covers my ankles and meets my shoes which is ideal for winter. For the price, I give them five stars. They are cute, but do fall down a bit due to stretchy-ness.
